I would write really good, informative, compelling articles with strong, interesting titles and then book mark them with stumble upon, it has brought literally thousands of people to my blog and website in just one day.

I used to spend a small fortune on Pay per click and then moved onto Ezine solo ads which I found were more successful and a lot cheaper. You still get to your target market and can reach a lot more people in a shorter space of time.

Write compelling articles with perfect keyword density for the keyword you wanna rank for. That is what I do normally, and I get the page 1 ranking for so many.

There is famous Quote that if you have 10 $ then spend 9 of them on marketing........the only purpose to state that quote here is to highlight the importance of marketing so as much time or money you will spend on marketing of your blog you will get the equivalent results.....

The only tip is do more and more work on those methods people suggested, blog commenting, areticle submission, social bookmarking, forum posting, directories submission, etc.
