I feel like #1 spot will be impossible to achieve, but what do you think about top3? None of these websites are optimized for my keyword, nor their backlinks. Is this considered as easy competition?

    Hi lirikh,

Why do you think #1 is impossible? It looks like it could be quite easy to me. Of course you cannot tell this based on what you are looking at there, you need to look a bit deeper, it has all the indicators that it may be a "piece of cake".

Agreed. I like to analyze the competition "by hand" by looking at page 1 myself and evaluating each of the pages.

I think you need more evaluation but I don't see anything that says you can't get into the top 3.

I would go for it, if the traffic and cpc is right.

First off, look at #6, that proves to me that a new site could walk right into the rankings. Secondly, not a single one of these pages is optimized onpage for the keyword you're targeting. And lastly, there is a youtube sitting in #3.

      Good luck -Matt

Agreed, from the chart were looking at in OP, the #1 position doesn't have much reason to be in the #1 spot.

It's obvious they are not even trying to be #1 for that keyword (whatever it is), no keyword in the Title, Description, H1 tag.

    Go for it...

I would say at first glance you are looking at a doable keyword.

You will however need to analyze further to know for sure.

Mind your onsite SEO and you should be in good shape.

Reverse engineer their the backlinks to see if they have any amazing links going on first.

Tbh, you should be able to walk into that keyword easy. #1 might take you a little while to achieve, but it won't really take that long.
