  • $30, i don't know if its normal or not, at least that's my monthly revenue
  • There is no normal.....it's the same as asking "how long is a piece of string?".....too many variables.........
  • Just trying to work out what to expect i know i will need to do a few to generate a good passive income amount but rome wasnt built in a day so my aim is to make 1-2 sites per week every week which is douable wouldnt say it was too much work,

    thanks
  • It depends. i never seem to get a hight CTR.
  • Whts the least amount of searches month would you go for? i have found a niche which i think i might go into keyword vary from 54 searches to millions but obviously i want the non competive keywords,

Theres a few keywords with 54-400 seaches each month and hardly no competition what so ever and the cpc is £16-20 so would it be worth having a few keywords so it tallys 2-5,000 searches a month,

or is it best just to find words that have high searches and low comp but average cpc,

    whats your thoughts?

    thanks

Hy. Its quite impossible to say the monthly income!!!!!!!!
Actually you need to see the traffic and CPC. suppose you are getting 100 visitor per day then the normal click rate is 4-6. That mean you will get 4-6 clicks per day and if your site is about a niche that has high cpc then you will make more......

So that totally depend on traffic and niche cpc,

Well, if you are going to build any site its better to start with any keyword with at least $1 cpc.

    Thanks
  • I think it's against Adsense TOS to discuss your CTR, so I'd avoid saying it if at all possible. I doubt anyone here'll get found out, but still.

That said, I'd consider 1% to be about par.

  • I have sites that get around a 15% ctR, and some sites that get less than 1%. For me, it doesn't depend as much on your niche, but your keywords, and where your traffic comes from. Social bookmarking may be nice for getting indexed and getting rankings, but it does absolutely nothing for me in terms of CTR. The same for almost all of my non-EZA click-throughs and blog comments. The greatest CTR for me comes from organic google rankings, and occasionally, in a far-placed second, Ezine Articles.
  • There are SO MANY factors when looking at Adsense CTR...

Including the fact that different niches have people in different states of mind looking at your page...so even if you use the EXACT same page and layout, your CTR can be vastly different if the audience is different - hence in a different state of mind. I have personally experienced this.

That being said, 1% CTR is definitely NOT normal...you might get a the odd few sites that have such a low CTR, but its not the norm. And if you getting this, try changing your site layout, colors etc...

My sites' CTR ranges anything from 1% to about 15% The more common range for me personally is 7% to 11%

    • Ive tried many things to improve ctr including changing themes, ad layouts, ad sizes, ad colors, better content and various others. I've found that there are a few factors that will give you a small increase in ctr but essentially it seems to depend on the niche and the keywords. Some niches and keywords simply lend themselves to higher click rates and more effective ads.

On my main site, I have hundreds of pages of content. Click-through seems to depend entirely on the page rather than the site as a whole. Some of my pages get a consistent click-through of over 20% while many others get 7% to 15%. The bulk of the content gets closer to 1 or 2 % and some pages get much less than that. Overall, my site averages about 2% and I'm pretty satisfied with it. I'm starting some new projects in other niches and I expect that i will see much different results simply because each niche will likely perform differently.

  • No idea about that how much you will get per months because it all depends the amount of traffic . The normal CTR of sites are around 1-2%
  • Whats the best way to find the comp of a keyword? i have a new strategy but unsure if it is good or not
