Keywords and Articles: Newbie question

Hi, all.

I've been starting to write articles for my niche. I'm a particularly a slow writer to begin with so it is has been a long day. I have written a few articles now and I'm sort running out of titles. I've been putting the target keyword first in the title and also the first sentence in the first paragraph. Shooting for a %2 keyword density in most of my articles. But I'm running out of ways to include to the keyword into the titles.

Also I'm running into the wall regarding subjects to write about. Once I take a particular stand on an topic, there aren't many variation of articles I can write about. I don't think it's a matter of passion. (I got plenty of that) But I'm getting writer's block already I need to solve that somehow.

Any insights?
Thank you.

  • I find that taking a quick break helps with writer's block sometimes.

For article ideas.....google your niche and see what others have written about then give it your own twist.

    Hope this helps......good luck!

    • Sometimes I do something like this for titles

      Keyword- whats great about whatever
Keyword- 5 things you didn't know about keyword
      etc.

This seems to work pretty ok.

As for the writers block Jacqueline is absolutely right. My major in college is very writing intensive and you must take breaks if you are running into a wall. If you don't you are gonna have a hard time. Just like mentioned above just look around the web for something to write about. Check out ezine articles, it seems like everything that could have possibly be written about has, and its on there.

  • For article writing, not everyone can do it. I personally feel it is really easy, I take breaks whenever I don't feel like writing. If you write when you aren't in the mood the quality will be really bad.

    • Here's an idea...

For the next X articles (could be 3, 5 or whatever), stop trying to write for search engines. Write titles and content for people, as if one of them was sitting across the table for you.

As for subjects, look for common questions. AKA Frequently Asked Questions.

Use the question for the title. Write your article to provide the answer.

After you hit X articles, see if the juices aren't flowing a little more freely...

  • Whenever i run out of ideas for article i go to ezinearticles.com; log in and go to "get more title suggestions" there i enter a keyword and it pops out a bunch of title ideas for me to write. Or i google any keyword and find subjects that other people wrote about and write on that subject from my own perspective.

  • A round of thanks for everyone who commented.
    Thank you!
  • Just keep using different catch words like tips, steps, rules etc in the title. People love to read these sort of articles. You also maybe want to hunt down some forums in your niche and look for what problems people are facing and address those through your articles.

If there are a lot problems people are facing , I would suggest starting a blog and promote it on that forum.

One finding of the study suggests napping may help your brain make more room for new information. Thus it may actually help you to stop pressuring your mind a lot and take a nap instead
