I'm a newbie too at seo.
My site is live from sunday. I have followed all these steps but still my site isn't indexed. (from the post Seodiscussionforum->"having trouble getting indexed check inside")

I checked it with a google pageranker and the summary was.
Site was new or it was banned.

I tend to go with the first but still I have cold feet.

When I looked at the webmastertool under google->webmaster->'crawleracces' it said that it downloaded my robots.txt a few hours ago and it was succesfull (I allowed all search robots).

So this is what I did in total:
I did all onpage tips.
I created a tier 1 backlink
I created tier 2 backlinks to that blog
I posted articles etc etc.
I got a sitemap
I got robots.txt
I submitted my site to every search engine.
I pinged all my links

Im a little confused now.

Any help would be much appreciated
