Backlink blaster

Hi! I'm not sure if I'm posting this is in the right section, so please let me know if I'm not.

I've seen ads for some guy who will send out a blast of backlinks for five dollars. Has anyone seen this ad and have you tried it? Is it a scam or legit? Looking forward to replies, as I seriously need help getting links out there. I need every penny I make for my kids and can't afford anything extensive.

  • if $5 is that important to you, then save it, don't spend on it. 99% it is wasted.
  • Do online jobs not try to market yourself.

    • don't do blasts to your domain - do a blast to one of your higher quality articles/pages on a different domain (ie. hubpages, ezinearticles)

      it's most likely scrapebox/xrumer spam though

  • Yeah it would be hard to believe that $5 would buy quality backlinks. I'm not familiar with the program, but I would make sure the links aren't going to be sent to low page rank directories, because you can easily do that yourself for free.
  • Hey, everyone, thanks for your input. I'm still pretty new to all of this and find it frustrating that I have to spend so much time trying to get my links out there, especially when so many sites/forums don't want you "Self promoting." THey have no idea how difficult they're making it on people who have no other way to make money...not that I'm making much. I can see it's going to take another 2-4 months to get a dime from adsense.

    Can someone tell me if Wordpress allows you to you ad agencies aside from adsense?
