Hello Warriors,
I have some blogs running under wordpress and recently I am getting lot of comments, about 20 comments per day about how great posts I have on my blog. I feel like its automated comments that generated using software, I really don't know.

What should I do with them? Is it good or bad for my blog regarding SEO?

  • Trash them, it is Scrapebox software in most cases.

  • I believe that the beauty of links lies in you being able to accept or reject. The industry matters, obviously there are some comments you will never approve, honestly, due to their content or language.

  • Comments are nofollow in wordpress. If the comments are unrelated to article or have abusive language then delete them. Else they do no harm.

  • I always trash them, yeah. Not only are they useless spam bots, but they also mess up your on-page keyword density.
  • Trash 'em.

But first, run a backlink check on them and see where else they're dropping links. Never know what you may find. You may just get lucky and find a few decent sources for you to drop your own links.
  • I believe most of them are spams.u can use wp plugins to delete them.Of course using a captcha plugin is awesome too
  • Yeah. They are going to be spam posts made from automatic software programs like scrapebox.

Often they won't make sense or won't be targeted towards your particular blog post, you were just found because of a keyword mentioned in your post.

    ...Traaaash!
  • Use Akismet = Problem solved (It catches more than 99% of Spam)
