I have a hosting reseller account and built a number of money sites on this account. I have many of them interlinking. I know they share an IP so the link juice is very little. However, I have built many of these sites to PR 3 now. I am wondering if it is worth getting dedicated IPs for these money sites to increase the link juice within the network.

Thoughts?

As far as I understand - yes, it is very worth it!

I'm just started to look into this matter myself. But, from my experience, links from websites with a shared IP address are very weak. Interlinking these sites, from what I understand, can actually look bad to Google. They can discover that they are hosted on the same IP and that you may be trying to link SPAM.

With Google changing things so much, I think that they might start to come down on shared IP links a bit harder in the near future. If you have different IPs for your sites, it will be much harder for them to see that you run all of them.

Either way, reseller hosting is a great way to get a different IP for each website you have. I'm in the beginning stages of getting this rolling for my sites. I have about 20 sites all on a top notch hosting plan, but they all share one IP, probably not a good idea.

As far as I can tell, hostgator has some great plans, but they are NOT the cheapest. You might want to take a look at justhost.com or cPanel Shared, Reseller, and VPS Web Hosting by Bolt Web Hosting

If you make your living with money sites, I would say that it is definitely worth getting separate IPs.

Thanks. I actually have a justhost reseller account where my money sites live. I went to buy dedicated IPs for them, but could only get 4 different ones that weren't the same shared C class. I am thinking of doing the move to an SEO hosting company like Multiple IP Hosting | Seo Hosting | SEO Servers

Matt it depends on how many you have really. Seo Hosts overall have a very poor reputation (but there are a few good ones). If you are not talking about many you can head over to web hosting talk and go to their shared reseller offering. there are a number of them who time to time have 50% off for life and stuff like that. You can pick up hosting accounts for under two or three dollars per month quite often and many of the the companies are good. You can check the same place for reviews. Use those that use two or three datacenters and order one in each. ten or under is a breeze to do this way plus the different geo locations can help like for example in Google UK.

A host like Site5 can give you ten or so by themselves but they run a little more

Oh really??? Justhost reseller accounts use the same IP? That's why it's cheaper than hostgator then I guess. Good to know.

I wouldn't leave your eggs all in one basket anyway. I would move your sites around to different hosting companies. There is more value than just having different IP addresses associated with websites. You never know when Google might blackhole the IP address because of whatever they want to make up at the time as the excuse.

Yeah differnt class C IP is good. make sure you host your money site in the same geographic location as your customers though or you'll loose traffic very quickly.
