Press Release is Still Helpful in SEO ?

Hi All,


I have one query. I done some off page activities like bookmarking and and article submission for my site and i got a good traffic from that sites. But I never get traffic from press release still I am doing press release submission in high priority.


So I want to know that press release is still helpful in SEO.

  • Press Release is a very good option to increase your SEO (if you find good sites of course). The main advantages of PR sites:
    • You can write long text and so handle your keyword density
    • You can insert quality links in the body (with optimized anchor)
    • Your links will be contextualized
    • You can place your links where you want in the text

  • Yes, press release provide all SEO requirement for a site like -traffic(visits),backlinks,keyword ranking etc.
  • People seem to be rediscovering press releases (again!), a lot of SEO courses seem to be mentioning them lately. The trick is to get good distribution, i.e. good syndication by a lot of sites. It is worth finding a good (possibly paying) service. I am going to test one on a new site today. Trouble is, it is only an initial spike, with possibly few long-term benefits, but some claim massive SERPS boosts. *Shrug* - only one way to find out.

  • Find out some good PR site which have good PR, as well as visitors. PR sites which are popular among people and in the same niche as your site, will provide targeted visitors. Choose the right category for your PR for good result.

    • Just like I said there is a difference with free and paid. I have tried free press release sites with high PR's and they dont come close to what is offered by paid services.
