Adsense - Not Showing??

Today I added Adsense to one of my local website ie: .co.za (South African) and the ads have been live for about 6 hours.

I have just logged into my Adsense account and there is no record of any impressions of the ads. I have checked the site and the ads are live.

What should I do? :confused:

  • Have you received any visitors to your site in the past day or so? If you're not getting any traffic to your site you won't get any impressions on your ads. Check your server logs and see how many people have stopped by the page you have your ads listed on.
  • Thanks, I have had visitors and I have been to the site myself so there should be atleast a few impressions?

    • I would then check and see if there are any impressions over the entire course of time you've had the ads on your site. By default when you visit AdSense it only shows you information on today so be sure you're taking a look at the entire course of time you've had the ads listed.

      Aside from that, if the ads are showing on your page and you're getting visitors to that same page, I would check to be sure that the publisher ID number within the code on your site is the same as what's in your account.

      If those match up, I'm personally at a loss aside from Google taking too long to update their stats. That would be my only last guess.
  • Definitely scrap the ad code and start again. There is something badly wrong for it not to at least show impressions.No clicks is one thing but no imps?
  • Give it some time
    If it doesnt work after 24 hours then you might need to start again
