Hey members,

Have you all noticed GoArticles.com consistently loosing its PR. It had PR6, then PR4, and on last PR updates, it became PR3.

Do you think, that we can get valuable backlink still from GoArticles.com?

Personally I think that article submissions are a waste of time in comparison to other linkbuilding methods. Google's gone to show that it doesn't have much love for these type of sites, including Ezine over the course of the last year. PageRank has been drastically cut as well as their traffic.

If possible, go for other types of linkbuilding.

No man, you are wrong, Article submissions and blogging are the best and real link building methods than others, as far as these are CONTEXTUAL LINK building, others are NON-CONTEXTUAL, Google still loves Ezine articles and blogging, but always COMBINATIONS of links work well, rather than specific link building approach.

I also dont agree with you. Article marketing is still effective technique and can brings great results. Automated article submission can bring you lots of backlinks pretty fast.

Exactly! Why pick just one method to build backlinks? Use all possible methods if you can, article submissions, profile links, blog commenting etc.

No, no, no. Article directories are very valuable when it comes to link building. I do agree that recently I have seen a decrease in Goarticles traffic but there are much more effective article sites out there. I'm getting the best results with a site called street articles, you should check it out.

Yep, their PR has been dropping like a rock in the last couple of months. But, they are still an easy contextual link to go out there and get.

On the other hand major competitor of GoArticles - ArticleRich.com too was on similar position sometimes back, they dropped from PR5 to PR3, and was in PR3 for long time and now they had got PR4 and their service too improved...
