Does Bing Copy Yahoo?

I have seen the video in which Google blatantly destroy's BING in showing how they copy results but I am noticing they copy Yahoo as well.

I have been optimizing one of my websites. The rank of the website is the exact same.

1st week:
Y!: #34
BING: #34

2nd week:
y!: #8
Bing:#8

3rd week:
Y!: #14
Bing: #14

4th week:
Y!: #5
Bing: #5

This is very bizzare.

And this is for 2 keywords, not just one.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Been doing that for a while.

Except yahoo Japan, which uses google

That's because yahoo Japan is a separate company from
the main yahoo. Just can't get away from that pesky google.

Yahoo Japan is the 12th most visited website in the world.

Google just has people who know what they're doing, contrary
        to many here.

Because google runs many searches across websites and platforms,
it is hard to really get a handle on how much search they actually
own. Most people just think google.com

I know they use Bing's algo, but it hasn't been made clear whether or not they always display the same results. I haven't bothered to test. Do they have the same pages indexed or is there some variation?

That's exactly what I've seen. Yahoo and Bing, provide nearly the same results
in most situations but not always. I don't bother checking rank with Yahoo and
Bing as they provide less than 1% or 2% of what Google brings me.

Just type "book" in Google, Yahoo, and Bing and compare the results.

Yahoo and Bing provide exactly the same results and for the first page,
both results are very very close to what Google provides.

Now type a nonesense such as "having a goodbye tenaciously" and test it.
Again yahoo and Bing are copying each others and again the results are
    close to what Google gives.

As a conclusion, Yahoo and Bing are copying each others obviously.

      Hi rahmanpaidar,

No not exactly, Yahoo search is powered by Bing's search engine. Yahoo no longer maintains their own search engine.

        Don,

That's correct. But as far as there are two sites for these two search
engines for services, I have to say inevitabily they are copy. This is
misleading for the most of the users of these two search engines that do
        not know this matter.

I bet a few people in real life knows that Bing and Yahoo use the same
database (if not the same algorithms).

How about the Japanese? They go to yahoo and get google results.
How about AOL users as well? They get google now.
Anyone want to guess as to what ask.com gives?

If a person actually cares about who is running the engine, I dare
say they would be on a site that gave them what they want.

            Paul,

What you said are all in agree with the fact that there are less than the
number of fingers in hand search engines available in todays life.

But as I said in my first post to this thread, the similarities between
Bing and Yahoo search engines, have been turned into equality between
            them.

          Hi rahmanpaidar,

I think you may have missed my point. There isn't two different search engines, there is only one search engine and it is that same exact search engine that provides results on both sites. And it isn't just those two sites, Bing supplies results for quite a number of websites.

There is nothing misleading going on, Yahoo and Bing fully disclosed their arrangement with the press and if you look at the bottom of every search result page on Yahoo you will see "Powered by Bingâ„¢", how much more do you want?

I thought that it went beyond Yahoo using Bing's algo. I thought that Bing actually supplied Yahoo's search results.
