I'm going to buy aged domians , While i'm searching i found two domains pr2 and pr3
but when i checked backlinks by seo spyglass for these domains i found :

pr2 domain with 4 backlinks, all 4 with pr0 and 2 of them are nofollow and 1 is missing
pr3 domain with 11 backlinks, 10 of them is n/a and 1 is pr0 and 5 links are missing

Can anyone explain how come these domains are pr2 & pr3 with these backlinks ? , or it is a fake pr ?

Thanks In advance

    Not all backlinks are visible.

I see this all the time and more since I've started using SEO Powersuite. Backlinks that I didn't know existed start showing up and sure enough, when I check, there they are.

Check it in rankchecker.com and see if it is fake.

Maybe they have great content and the backlinks that they do have are really strong? Idk? Every website is different.

          I know you said you checked www and non-www, but did you check to see if the site has canonical URLs? I've seen links to something like w w w . e x a m p l e . c o m / i n d e x . p h p not show up as backlinks because that's technically a different address than w w w . e x a m p l e . c o m. If the site doesn't have canonical URLs, there could be quite a few variations the URL to one page.

You know, we are in the same situation. Except that I have already bought my domains. After which, I found out they have no backlinks at all?!?!

So, I would also like to know the answer for that because I'm afraid the PR will suddenly just drop for no reason ...
