I guess i'm not to good at writing articles or finding keywords. Most of my articles has 100-300 page views max on ezine. Is this normal or what?

How do I find good keywords that alot of people look for so I can get more traffic to my site via article marketing?

Someone, please help

I think you should be happy with how your articles are performing at Eza. My articles have less than a hundred views each. Well, I only have one which has 134 views.

I don't think it's just all about how good or bad your writing skill is. There are a lot of factors that affect an article's performance in the directories, e.g., niche, keyword competition, etc.

As to finding the right keywords to use, you can use the Google Adwords keyword selection tool or you can try Micro Niche Finder.

    Just keep going, buddy!

Hundreds people views your articles? Great.. EzineArticles reject my articles. You're better than me. Keep writing, find hot topic, and write interesting title for your articles.

How long have these articles been published?

Razorblade is right - views depend a lot on the niche, level of interest, etc.

If your URL clicks are low compared to the number of views you're getting, then that usually means there's a problem with the article.

Thanks everyone. For some reason, I have a feeling that my keywords are not searched enough. People say use this tool, but I don't really know how. If someone could explain in detail exactly how to pick long key words that would be terrific

Article marketing is one of my favorite methods of driving traffic to my website. The reason I use article marketing for driving traffic to my website is that article marketing creates some of the most highly responsive subscribers and visitors to my website, bar none.

      Max,

To see how many searches a term has per day, use Wordtrackers Free Keyword Tool. They list 'daily' amount of searches and I was taught to double the amount because WT only pulls from certain search engines.

So you're looking for keywors that have 2,000 searches a month or more, which would be a daily search of 67. So if WT says it's searched 35 times a day, move on to determining competition.

To see how many websites are competing, put the keyword phrase into "quotes" in the Google Search Bar, like this...

      "How To Potty Train Boys"

When you hit search, you will see to your right

      Results 1-10 of about 11,200.

You're looking for that 11,200 number to be less than 10,000 if you can.

      You're final two clues:

1.) Are there adwords campaigns on the search results. If not, then it may be a popular niche that just doesn't convert to buyers, or no one knos the niche yet, so the you go to

2.)Clickbank. Are there affiliate products on this topic, and if there are, what's their gravity. The higher the gravity, the better.

      Good luck,
      Marcus

    ^wow thanks corwinnz.

Let me ask a question, am I wanting WT to come up with 67 or more or did you just pull that from a hat ( or something else ) If not, what would be a good number in WT to look for? I'm also guessing the more searches the better?

Also, one more thing, does it matter what google says WITHOUT quotes or not?

This has been very helpful. Thanks

    Hey Max -

Here's another tip for you (and everyone else too), that may work to get you more views:

Make your article a "list" of tips, ideas, etc.

    "11 Tips for _____________."

People love lists and they're easy to skim. Also, for some reason or other, odd numbers seem to do better than even numbers. Go figure.

article views vary, i have some with 32 and others with 20,000 just keep writing and that magic article will appear with tons of views. With todays competitive markets its hard to make every article a winner.

But if you write good stuff and not trash they will stick around for a long time.

Okay, I will use tips then and be sure it's an odd number of them. Thanks a bunch

Try looking at the most viewed articles in your category. Then you can see which keywords are generating the most views.

Well I guess I'm lucky then, I only wrote 2 articles, 1 got 183 views and the other 1 got 1,,867 views with one 5 stars vote

I didn't concern much about keywords optimization back then since I only wrote it for the sake of my first blog.

Later I found that the one that got lower views is because there are just too many similar articles,
while the other one 8 Things to Help You Pass CCNA Exam
has an interesting title and not much similar articles which I guess attracts more viewers.

And you guys are right, it's also because of the "how to" factor.

well getting so much of visitors to your ezine articles is really good thing......another main thing you should always keep in your mind set is google's saying "Dont be lure".........

so write articles, submit them and be happy if you get more than 300 visitors as i have been continously rejected by ezine as due to quality or i dont know know wht can be the reason
