AdSense channels not visible in account's Dashboard

I just created three new AdSense channels and used the ad blocks on my new web site.

However, the new channels are not visible in my AdSense account.
Am I missing something or does it take more than an hour for the channels to become visible in the account's dashboard?

    How did you create the channels? If you don't create them
    from your adsense account, they are not really adsense channels.
