Yes! I'm nearing my first Google Adsense payout!

I just want to share with you, my fellow Warriors, my sheer excitement and joy upon realizing that I'm about to reach the $100 threshold for my first ever Google Adsense check! Wow! Took me more than three months to do that...

I have several sites focusing on local travel niches and some of them are on the first page for several keywords. Although these keywords have quite high searches, the CPCs are quite low ($0.10 - $0.50). Aside from that, the page CTRs of my sites are below 1%.

I definitely need to learn more techniques on how to improve page CTR and other methods on maximizing Adsense revenue. I'm also planning to create more websites on other niches with higher CPCs.

So who says that making money online is impossible? Sure, I'm not yet rich from my Adsense income, but it's a start. I just need to multiply my efforts and build more websites. My next goal is to earn at least $20 per day on autopilot. Wish me luck!

    congratulations! I remember my first adsense check. It was $300 and I was THRILLED. I put it on a website that had been around since 1997 but had never made much money. I did this in 2003 (I think) when I first heard of adsense. Since then, adsense has been the cornerstone of my income, although this is changing a bit this year.

    ecpm and ctr used to be a lot higher in the early days

      Thanks! $20 per day may not be much, but it's already more than twice the average salary here in my place.

      Thank you... Nice to know that you are making a consistent income from Adsense. I wish I had started earlier in creating websites and placing Adsense on them.

      That's a good idea! However, these sites have static HTML pages (not WordPress or other CMS) so I have to wade through code to update these sites. I try to update them every month or so.

        Good one! I earn about $100/month from quite a few sites.

        I'm happy with that from Adsense.

        I earn a LOT more from affiliates though. That could be your next stage ... needs some research yet there's plenty of advice on here.

    Making money feels good. I remember back in 2000 making up to $600/day, but that wasn't with adsense. My best day with adsense was $322 or so. That was back in 2006 range. Big money days feel good. My best payday was $2300 from a 5 hour online poker tournament.
