So I quick idea relating to golf and wanted do a quick promotion on Adwords using my hop link and the ad was quickly disapproved. The CB product site is The Simple Golf Swing » Get Your Hands On The. Definitely not the usual get rich quick scam so I'm little confused why it was disallowed. Are CB hop links blacklisted now? I haven't promoted any CB product since 2007, so I'm a little behind on the times.

Yes, Google doesn't allow this kind of direct linking anymore. In fact, they don't even like it when you set up a website that's mainly to promote an affiliate product. They seem to especially dislike Clickbank products.

Yea for some reason google has placed a target on affiliate marketers. They wont approve clickbank direct links. I stopped using them.

sigh:rolleyes: Not true at all. Where do people come up with this???

To answer the question: DO NOT direct link, EVER. Even if they do let you, if they ever deem the site inappropriate, you will not be able to bring it into compliance since it isn't yours. This will probably result in a ban of your AdWords account.

Yes, you cannot do direct linking anymore. You could set up a review page where you give your experience with the product (to pre-sell the visitors) and THEN link to your hoplink, but I've seen people have problems even with that!

Your best bet? Set up a 5 - 10 page content site (with good, original content - golf tips and such) and then have an opt-in form in the side bar with a strong call to action. When they sign up, present them with the CB offer.

I heard somewhere that google has a policy, one url can be advertised with only one adword account. Maybe this is not allowed because of that very rule.

i would suggest to build a blog around that product and write content about it...study the rules of adwords and you can use adwords to promote your blog..
