Site not being reindexed and ranked by google

We have a site at gettingthru(dot)org that has been on the internet since the 1990's. It had some good rankings with google for a number of key words and when we started using Web2M, we improved our rankings and got some new ones.
Thanks for that.

Then google stopped reindexing the site. It is still doing well with bing and msn, but we lost all of our positions with google, so we are perplexed.

We had the main page redirected to a subdomain and thought that might be the problem, but we changed it a couple of days ago and nothing has changed as far as we can tell using rank checker.

I also checked in google webmaster tools to see if google had an issue with the site and didn't find anything. I also added a site map on Saturday, hoping google would notice it and reindex the site.

This is having a major impact on our sales and we need to correct it. It is also futile to use Web2M tools if google is not even going to look at the site.

HELP!

I looked at the webmaster tools again and saw that there was no robots.txt file. I added one and hope this will help.

  • Your site may be affected by Google's new algorithm Google Panda. Firstly you should check your content and if there is any duplicate content you should change it and make it unique. And remove low quality pages. You can check whether Google Panda has crawled your site. trends.google.com Enter the URL here.
