.ca domain and SERP problem

Hi there,

I am wondering to know if a website has .ca domain , high PR but the language and geography location of business is for another country, is there any way to improve SERP through google webmaster or anything else?

    • .ca is for websites that are in Canada or have some sort of interest on
      Canadian soil. Given the rules, I assume you have some ties to Canada.

      If the question is can you now take that .ca and rank it outside of Canada,
      well, that's like a fish out of water. You can, if you are offering things
      that people search for about and in Canada. Maybe.

      Overriding the .ca is a huge hurdle.

      There was no reason to get a .ca for any other country than Canada.

      You could specify something in the webmaster tools, but not likely
      to have an effect, as the .ca is the most prominent factor.

      You should have gotten a non country tld.
