Hi folks!

I just want to ask if could I use two anchor texts when doing blog commenting? Wouldn't they consider me as spammer if I do it?

Thanks guys!

  • Probably would, yes. You also prob only want 1 link to your site anyway.

    • You are probably spamming anyhow... but yes, leaving two links is obviously someone who is being very blatant in their spamming.

  • You can use one anchor text on some blogs and an other anchor text when commenting on other blogs.
  • Probably. Unless you're commenting at already spammed auto approve blogs.

At MOST you want to mix in your anchor text with your name, IMO.

For example: "James From Acoustic Guitar Reviews"
  • As others have said, I would only have 1 link with 1 anchor if you want the link to have a chance of sticking.
  • most likely, yes!you are considered spammer...you can insert links alternately so both of your links will be posted
  • I see some of the comments which are filled with text anchored are most likely to be recognized as spam by search engines. Getting a backlink depends on the quality of blog, PR & relevancy of the comment.
  • I will always delete an excess of anchor links in blog comments.

I figure offering a direct link back to your latest blog post (I use

WordPress › CommentLuv « WordPress Plugins

    is good enough.

Hate it when folks try to spam my blog.

  • Hi,
If you are writing comment related to your website, you can try to advice or suggest the author or visitors to check the 2 urls.
If author thinks , that you are trying to spam. Hey may ban you to comment again.
So think twice when ever you are commenting using your urls.

  • Giving only one link is good other than giving two at a time to one site.Just avoid two links.
  • So, If I go to a news site or controversial blog for the sake of reading their content, and I get fired up and leave a comment....and since it asks me for my website address...you are saying I'm a spammer? Interesting....inaccurate but interesting...

I always wonder why people are so focused on commenting on blogs within their niche instead of commenting on blogs and news sites which get consistently higher readership, end up with higher PR on the page, and you will actually enjoy reading.

Start integrating your blog commenting into your real life and include one of your websites in that nice little box that asks for it. If you are genuinely commenting because you have an opinion about the content, then it is not spam...

Now, to the OP's real question...You knew the answer already...You were just hoping someone would give you permission to be a jerk.

  • I will prefer 1 site on one page with Low OBL.Always Try to find out Relevant sites to comment on either they have PR N/A or 0. One thing more use Relevant Description while link building to impress the moderator.
  • it might be consider as spam so you better use one anchor text.use one anchor text for a blog commenting at a time.
  • It might not be wise to leave two anchor text or even a one. Some might approve your comments but there are others who doesn't approve comments that has a link on it.
