Hi folks! I just want to ask if can I use long-tailed keywords as anchor text? Wouldn't they consider it as spamming?

Thanks guys!

It depends how long you mean and who "they" are. Then it depends in what context the links are.

If I'm not mistaken, Ezine Articles allows up to three words to be used as anchor text. I don't think three words is considered a lot. How long is your anchor text?

Try it, if your links dont get approved, refine your methods.

No that's not spamming. It is good to change up your anchor text to a variety of keywords. If you use only 1 keyword for all your anchor texts you will get a penalty from google. You will rank for more terms if you use multiple anchor text keywords as well.

I use long tail keywords in article distribution with no problem. Even if the phrase is not quite natural, I still try to work it into a basic sentence like "learn more about the topic of KEYWORD PHRASE" so it doesn't look like I just stuck a keyword at the bottom of an article.
