I get 4 visits every day and they always result in 4 clicks.
You don't find this to be strange?
I do.
And I hear it's a good practice to report your own account in case you spot weird activity.

I find in strange in the same way I'd find someone telling me they saw a bear driving a car strange.

Because all of these three are true...

#3. The fact that you get 4 visits every single day that always result in 4 Adsense clicks is beyond strange.

If that's really happening, then you should find a way to stop it ASAP because you're going to get flagged and your account will be suspended. You could alert Google of it. I'm not sure how they'd respond.

So, I will have to report own account to AdSense, after all.

I mean, if a SEO software like MarketSamurai tries to crawl my site, it may also decide to follow AdSense ad link and cause a fake click, no? :confused:

Do you have analytics installed or anything so you can see where the traffic is coming from? I would remove the adsense ads until you can figure this out.

My hosting provider GoDaddy asks for more money to supply me with stats. Can you guess whether I am willing to pay them for every little thing that comes for free with other providers.

At the same time I don't have Analytics installed because my experience with Analytics for WordPress shows that the data is not accurate at all. If anything, it may only confuse you.

I had a case with Analitycs for WordPress here the total all time visits to my site decreased with time, lol.
So, yesterday you have 300 total all time visits, but today they suddenly drop down to 200 total all time visits. What a mystery, huh?
So, I abandoned the idea.

Will check this "Get Clicky" thing out and see if I can install it in WordPress. Maybe it can do the job.

Who told you Analytics for wordpress is not accurate? I use it on over 25 wordpress sites right now. What exactly are you comparing it to?

My own experience.
I am comparing Analytics For WordPress that I use on one of my WorDpress-based web sites with the actual, real Google Analytics that I use on my Blogger.com blog.
Analytics For WordPress reports weird stuff. Read my previous post about it reporting progressively decreasing total all-time visits to my website.
Makes no sense your all-time totals to be decreasing, right?

It's not this.
AFWP reported the total visits to my site since it was launched differently every day.
That plugin is flawed.

I registered a Get Clicky account and I am testing their thing now, using a WordPress plugin.
The funny part is that the author of that Get Clicky plugin for WordPress is the same Dutch guy that coded the flawed Analytics For WordPress plugin.

Are you using : Google Analytics for Wordpress by Joost Da Valk?

If you are, dont use the in wordpress stats, just go to your google analytics account inside your...well..google account and use the stats there. They are very accurate.

Stop relying on third party plugins. Install the GA code as per Google's instructions and I'm positive you won't have any problems. You can't run a plugin that has nothing to do with Google and then blame Google when it doesn't work properly...

By default Google Analytics shows the last 30 days of stats.

If your traffic decreases inside of that time from it will show the numbers going down.

Just like inside of adsense in shows the last 7 days of stats by default.

As for the OP; I wouldn't worry about what you are seeing. This is something that I have personally seen that is pretty common. Within the first few days of a new site, and I am only getting about 5 - 10 visitors a day I will see a CTR from 50% - 100% depending on the amount of visitors. Each time I checked the traffic source it was always from organic traffic.

Don't sweat it; concentrate your efforts on getting more traffic. It is very very hard, to almost impossible to gauge anything with so few visitors. Once you get more traffic you will see your CTR drop down to more "normal" levels.

Google Analytics is used by millions of successful webmasters with no problems.

If it was inaccurate, you were most likely using it wrong.

Let me ask you something. If you are not the one clicking on your own ads, then what is so strange about getting clicks. If someone was really trying to screw you up then you would get more then 4 clicks a day "Trust me". As long as its not you then don't worry but if it is you will be caught because Google using some serious tech to determine self clicks. Someone trying to click bomb you with 4 clicks is not really bombing, worry if you see 150 clicks.

If I was concerned about Google flagging my Adsense activity, I would disable Adsense on that site temporarily. At least until I could get it sorted out.
