It's very important to be able to index your backlinks when you build them to your site so that the search engines will give them recognition and give your site some nice link juice.

There have always been discussions take place on the warrior forum about link indexing and there are certainly a variety of ways to get your links indexed by Google.

I've used several different software programs to get links indexed quickly which has worked out alright. But one of the best ways I've found to get my links indexed by Google is by doing this simple 3 step method outlined below.

Ping your link with Pingler.net and Ping-O-Matic.
An easy way to ping with Ping-O-Matic is using Sean Donahoe's Free Ping tool here: Pingomatic Bookmarklet - Ping Any Page Any Time

Create an RSS feed.
Or if you are using a web 2.0 or blog that already has an RSS feed then use your existing one. If we are trying to index profile links then we must create an RSS feed by using a service like HostMyRss.com. Go there to create an account and enter your URL. Then it will quickly make an RSS feed read for you to use.

Submit Your RSS Feed.
You can submit your RSS feed to RSS directories either manually or you can use software like RSS Bot. But for those who do not want to manually submit and do not want to pay for any software there is an excellent website that will submit your feed to the RSS directories for free.

- Simply go here: RSS Submit | Free Webmaster Tools and enter your RSS feed and site details then click submit. It will submit to some of the top directories and you do not even have to enter any CAPTCHAs!

I've found this method to be helpful when getting links indexed, it is also very easy to do and hardly takes any time at all.

All the best!

What are you using to see if your backlinks are indexed? Some tools aren't very accurate like seoquake only shows about half the actual backlinks.

By the way what theme are you using? It looks great

Many thanks!! and I appreciate the comments. My long term goal is to have at least 50 quality blog sites like my sleep site. Next one is on cellulite.

Still struggling with RSS but I got a nice e-mail from the guys at WP Expert (Alex Sysoef) all about RSS.

Site is 6 weeks old and is ranking 60-70 on google for my keywords.

That's a very nice looking site!

By using the methods above you can create an RSS feed for each link or you can mash up all of your links into one large RSS feed.

Then you can submit that feed to the RSS directories by using that website (posted above) or any RSS software if you happen to have one.

For even more link juice you can Ping and submit that RSS feed you created to social bookmarking directories.

This should gather attention from the Google spiders to crawl through the RSS feed and recognize your backlinks in the feed and then index them.

Try this out and let me know.

Or PM me if you want and I can take a closer look for you.

    1. Register 3-4 .info domains.
    2. Set 'em up on a cheap shared host with wordpress.
    3. Use TBS spun articles to fill them for 1-2 weeks regularly to have decent crawl rate from G bot.
    4. After you manage to get your new posts crawled by G frequently, then you can use plugins like Backlink Energizer, Backlink Promoter or Backlinks Index Express to automate the whole process.
    5. Throw some decent scrapebox links or xrumer profile links blast to those .info cluster blogs you have setup to have good crawl rate. That will set 'em up nicely.
    6. Almost 90% of my backlinsk gets indexed. (Yeah you heard it right! Forum Profiles too!)
    7. Want to save time and have money to invest? Forget the 1st step, and buy some cheap aged mini wordpress sites from forums like digitalpoint and you're good to go to jump the 4th step straight away.

    Hey Paul,

I like your tips for indexing all the links but I really wonder is it really necessary to get them indexed because search engines index pages that are important to them quite frequently and they just ignore links beyond a fixed number so if your link is on an important page it will be indexed otherwise search engines won't consider them so even if you get them indexed they won't be placing any value to these links.

What is your thinking on this?

    Hi,

I've also used that method to index backlinks, but I think that it doesnt too efective nowadays if your are indexing poor pages like forum profiles.

In any case, you can do it (ping multiple URLs, create RSS feeds, submit RSS to directories, etc) with a single free tool: Free Mass Ping Unlimited Websites or Blogs or RSS on BulkPing.com

I have a question. I did create a new RSS feed with the link you provided. But when I visit my RSS link, none of the links show up below it even though I added 35 links to it. here is the RSS link: Learn to dance online

Is that how my RSS page should look like?

I find it amazing that people are still talking about indexing backlinks in 2013.

Build the right links and you don't need to bump the index. If you're building links that take an age for Google to crawl - that should tell you they are worthless.
