It went from a N/a PR to a PR 4.. It skipped 0..1..2..3 and went right to PR4!!!
How did I do it?
Very easy. Its a simple method that you can use for a new channel or an old channel. Many of you might know about this little YouTube hack. Some might not. I use the hack but take it to a whole new level.
Wanna know my secrets?
Ok... I'll let you in on a few.
First thing is you need to add a video every other day for 2 weeks. As you can see I have 12 videos. The channel is only a month old. Do the math.
Then I go to fiverr.com and buy 4 different gigs for my most popular videos Im trying to rank for. (I only did this for 2 videos, each has around 1000 views now)
3. EDU links
For each of these you want to click the rating button and choose the person that offers the most and has the best rating.
Each one is from a different person. This is good for creating different link patterns.
I found one guy to give me over 175 rss submissions, one for 800 bookmarks, one for 25 edu links, and one for 350 backlink package for senuke.
Not bad SEO for only $20.
What was the result of this package?
Well do a search to give you proof.
Go to Google (not youtube) and type in "how to make a facebook fanpage" or "make a facebook fanpage" or "how to make a fanpage"
pretty much any variation and you will see my video smack dab in the middle of the first page. Which link would you click on?
I'm even ranking using this method on the first page for a huge keyword like: "Facebook Marketing"
This brought me very targeted traffic for my free facebook creation page that is linked from the video. (I'm not spamming the forum with the link, you can find it in the description box of the video)
This also brought alot of traffic to the channel. The more activity on your channel the better for rankings. PR and individual video rankings.
Now for the PR hack...
You want to find high PR channels to post a comment on. Now here's a trick to this hack. I only look for channels to post comments on with very little commenting.
This ensures that my link gets indexed and sticks around on a high PR channel home page for a long time.
If you can try and find channels close to relevancy to your channel. After that I go after schools and universities. Also of these have very high pr... pr5-pr7 and very little comments.
I only looked for channels to post comments on that had the comments on the page like... last comment 1 month... to bottom on the page like 8 months. This means that the links stay on the page a long time.
If I see a comment that has been posted 1 hour ago and the bottom comment is 1 week ago. This tells me theres too many comments being made and my comment won't stick on the home page very long.
I just move on till I find the ones that have very little comments. There out there and their gold.
How do I find these channels?
I use google. I go to google.com and use the advanced search option. Before you do this download seo quake if you don't have it yet. SEO Quake will show you the page rank and good info like backlinks, alexa, etc. for each listing.
So.. Go to google.com and find the advanced search feature. (Its on the right under the magnifying glass)
1. In the first box "all these words" type in your keyword.
2. In the second box "this exact wording or phrase" type in channel comments.
3. In the bottom box "Search within a site or domain" type in youtube.com
then hit the search button.
This will bring you channels to post your comment on. Make sure to hit the down arrow on the seo quake bar and it will put from highest pr to lowest pr. Start at the top and work your way down.
You can do this search for any keyword and find great channels to post on... remember to only spend time on the ones that have little activity as far as comments.
When you get to the channel make a comment that will ensure approval. Don't put something weak like "Nice Channel". Try to expand a little.
Here's the twist...
After making the comment don't leave. Start visiting the people's channels that have left comments on the page you just commented on. Post comments on their channel. Keep going further and further.
You are creating deep link indexing. Very powerful stuff! Most people go to a channel and post a comment and just leave.
You'll notice that the others that have commented have high PR also. Its because there all linked together. BY linking on theirs your creating a link wheel on youtube properties.
Your channel name is a do follow link back to your channel. Your creating high PR link juice back to your channel and eventually to your site.
I did this for 4 hours one day! I posted around 100 comments. All good comments. Most all probably go approved. I watched some videos, read some stuff on their channel and made a good comment that was sure to get approved.
I received many subscribers and views and also sales from these methods I have just shared. Now Im getting average 10-20 friend requests a day.
My PR is going up. The next time google does a pr update it will probably be at a PR 7.
Try this method for your channel..
