Hi everyone,

I'm new in this field of SEO and need a lot to learn. Can someone help me how to provide .edu or gov links to an employer? Should I've a list of those sites for directory submission forum links etc or what? Please help me.

Thanks in advance

  • It's pretty easy to do google searches and find things like forums or blogs that allow comments.

    • "latest comments" site:.edu

Does space between : and . plays any role? I didnt try yet but will it also work with gov search as well.

One more thing, does these backlinks really make difference.

This post doesn't exactly answer your question, but it seems that it may contain some information of which you're unaware. I appreciate that your employer might be under a misapprehension or two, on this subject, but maybe you could "learn up the subject" and tactfully explain that to him rather than misapplying time/energy/resources/whatever?

    • But one thing is still question able, when you check stats on woorank why it calculates and tell about gov and edu back links and says that these are high impact. confusing
    • I agree you at the moment, and yes relevancy is most important now, but if my employer asks me that he needs these backlinks for must then I'm nil in that and he will kick me out with a bad feedback.
