Backlinking: Should I include the "/" or not?

Hi Everyone my domain and pages look like:

http://www.mywebsite.com/

http://www.mywebsite.com/keyword1/

When I backlink using anchor links should I link them so it looks like:

http://www.mywebsite.com/keyword1/

Or

http://www.mywebsite.com/keyword1

Is there any disadvantage into not include the slash?

Many thanks,

Sam

      LOL!! That's friggin funny!

Since you are making the decision, it really does not matter. It's
the same page. Google can figure it out.

Consistency is the key, and if you expect people to link to
you, they probably will not use the slash. So, you should
      not do likewise.

There's no disadvantage either way. Some people have some
misguided conception that it matters. In the long run, it doesn't.
