Auto blog commenting?

I have a couple of questions about auto blog commenting.

1. Can using auto blog commenting software get you banned from commenting on blogs? As akimnet detects comments which are spammy I gather. If so, does this ban last a lifetime or eventually expire?

2. Where can you get a list of proxies which can be used with this software? I've searched Google, but the site just lists some proxy sites. Im not sure which ones should be copied and pasted.

    A. Yes your IP or email can be banned from commenting blogs for spam

    B. you need private proxies to use scrapebox properly.

There are some plugins which will prevent auto commenting. So I don't think you should use auto blog commenting

OP, Valera answered the first question, so I'll go on the second one.

You can get free list of proxy here, it updates every 30 minutes.

Free Proxy List Every 30 Minutes!

I always stick it with my scrapebox.

Thanks for the list. How do you put those proxies into the software? I tried highlighting the list, but I couldn't highlight it.

What does auto software have to do with Google though? To Google a backlink is a backlink, they don't know if someone has manually posted the blog comment or not. Although someone correct me if im wrong.

Don't waste your time in doing auto blog commenting for it will only ruin your site. Why? Because you will just find a bunch of spammy blogs in doing it and it's not good for your site.

I don't see how it can ruin a site because if it could then someone could just put their competitor sites through an auto blog commenter.

Blog commenting software can submit to all sorts of blogs, not just ones which get spammed.

I don't like the idea of auto blog commenting really, but im not getting results with AMR so i am looking for alternatives. Im not throwing the towel in though, im still going to try with AMR.

Auto blogging will get you banned by Akismet, guaranteed. If you have a site that you want long term, don't do it. Robotic Surfing (roboticsurfing dot com) has a semi-automatic blog poster that will let you read the blog and will automatically fill in the redundant info, name, email, website in the background. You can enter a custom or template comment.

Yeap i do try before. But try it smart which not only enter the keywords. You may choose which website that do not submit if not related .
So you won't that easy to get banned.
It still play save to submit yourself.
If you go for auto blog comment submit, i rather go for auto submit social bookmarking and article.

Is Robotic Surfing's Semi Automatic Blog Posting better than Comment kahuna? As that also does the same doesn't it, but its free?

It's FREE, Fully Functional -- Plus, it blows away software that currently sells for $97-$147!

Okay so I recently paid for 50 .edu backlinks for my old stodgy site. I've never done anything like this before but have been experimenting so what the heck. It's a 10 year old site with low PR and a few links I've made manually, but never done any massive linking.

So I get the report and went to see what kind of posts were made. I thought I was gonna be sick! The first one had "only" 170 comments and the one left for me was clearly automated with repeats of words and improper grammar. the next two had around 2700 and 4700 comments respectively!!

Just horrible comment spam and I was ashamed to have my site associated with it. People talk about doing this stuff all the time but I can't help but feel that I've done my site harm. Have I??

    Thanks.

Thank you! I'm not really worried, but I do still feel kinda sick. This was a recommended service with great reviews, which I did read. Is this what can be expected from any backlinking service? It was a $30 package (though there was a buy-one-get-one special), so no fiverr provider.

        Thanks again.

Comment Kahuna is an auto comment blogger. All auto comment blogger will eventually get you black listed because you're not reading the blog like you suppose to. Robotic Surfing Semi Automatic Blog Comment poster is like manually posting because you're reading the blog before posting an intelligent comment but it save you time.

Comment Kahuna isn't auto, it lets you manually submit to each blog after you've entered the search info.

It even says in the Comment Kahuna user manual not to put something lame when you comment, like "Nice site, check out this one.."

Auto Commenting definitely seems to be a bad idea, as nowadays the blog owner are well aware about such facts. There are number of spammers who are actively involved in link building for the website by using such automated software. So they make sure to install spam filter to get rid of such spam activity.

The verdict is in, my "cheap" backlinks package just cost me my pagerank. I've had a PR of 2 for years. I know that isn't great but now I am not ranked at all. I usually earn a couple hundred from this site a month. Last month my earnings from this website were $350. Next month? LOL That was an expensive $30 backlink package.

OK now that I've calmed down a bit and have checked my traffic, I may have lost my PR but the traffic hasn't suffered (yet). I'm still #1 for my main seasonal keyword on Google search. The nasty letter I wrote to the backlinking service will stay in my drafts folder for awhile.

I've learned a lot, and have even more reasons to diversify my income. Thanks to all and yes D4n13LA you do get what you pay for. Nice water buffalo BTW.

I used to use the disqus site for the guest blog commenting and it works effectively.
And i used to find the blogs manually from the google as by writing : blog comments powered by disqus "my keyword". So this way i can find the relevant blog.
And i not prefer the dofollow or nofollow. As for me both are the best. Though nofollow cannot pass the rank weightage but it be helpful for the traffic and backlinks. And as backlink come to our site it bring the content of the blog to our site and this way due to the content quality we can rank high though nofollow so this indirect way it helps.

sorry for the late reply some times I used the DavidNaylor tools or like an seobook toolbar to determine if the blog you are commenting is a dofollow or a nofollow it's like putting in a Quality Assurance first of the blogs that you are researching before you comment on the blog. Manually post to each blog is better and reduce spamming as such ways. When you’re commenting, use your first name rather than your primary keyword, because it just makes more sense to do so. You have to look like a real, genuine person that’s contributing to the blog, rather than a spammer who is trying to get an anchor text filled keyword noticed by the search engines.

Just search in Google for the list of dofollow blogs. And if you wouldn't get it then just search in Google for <your keyword> blogs , and then go through it. And just start commenting with your websites url hyperlinked in comment end. This will have great effect on traffic.

ScrapeBox is good for mass posting of crap.

If you want good comments you need to hunt down high PR do follow pages that are manually approved, then post good quality comments using a sensible username pointing to a decent quality site (no spammy sites, squeeze pages or spammy usernames).

Those pass the most value, finding sites like that is hard, and no one is going to share a list with you as it would burn the sites out.

FastBlog Finder can help, but its a bit expensive and not all that good, but if you dont know how to find sites yourself it may be worth looking at.

Also, ComLuv.Com is worth a look. ComLuv is a "do follow" plugin for wordpress, somewhere on their site is a google custom search that helps you find sites running the plugin. Following quality guidelines above you can usually get comments approved on those sites, after all, people run that plugin to attract comments.

If you have an rss feed ComLuv will pull your last post title in and use that as anchor text which is nice. There are a couple of caveats though:

      1) some sites are still no-follow, get "search status" installed for FireFox and set it to highlight "no follow" links, that way you can see instantly whether it is do follow or not
      2) If users un-install the plugin the links will die, or revert to no follow comments

Yes, it can be used to post to a ton of blogs at once. But it can do a lot more. All of the steps you described on finding manual approval blogs can be done with Scrapebox on a MUCH larger scale. Manually searching for dofollow blogs is like pulling teeth. It's what I tried to do before grabbing SB last year and I wish I didn't wait as long as I did.

Dude.. SB can only do what YOU set it up to do..

If you are getting crappy results, you are using crappy techniques. Don't blame the software. Adjust what you are doing and try again until you learn the proper ways to use the tool.

Google is definitely a lot quicker when it comes to recognizing automated blog comment backlinks. Though they still have their place.

I personally prefer to find PR1 or higher posts an manually leave comments. My approval rate is usually pretty good as long as I take the time to actually read the post and leave a legitimate comment.

The advice I usually give is to stop and think before pressing the "Post" button: "Would I approve this comment on my own blog?" Follow that simple rule and you'll see a solid approval rate as long as the blogs are actively moderated.

No they don't fail. You're the one who controlls a program. It does excatly what you tell it to do. If the outcome is a fail, well then it's probably you who did something wrong.

Sure if you just spam a comment like "great article, keep up the good work" it most likely doesn't get approved. But then again, it's up to you to write a better comment.

Certainly using auto blog commenting can get you banned, as the networks will simply note your url and the type of comments, and pass it on to others that you are spamming

You make a good point. Then your domain is blacklisted by Akismet and your URL can't ever be mentioned again

Which is why, unless you don't mind the risk, you shouldn't point automated comments directly at your own site.

That being said, most blogs that automatically approve comments are incredibly lenient or abandoned. People run into problems when they're randomly posting to thousands of blogs without knowing if they're AA or not.

          Hi,

there is an alternative; zemanta, but I have not tested it.

Does anyone has tested zemanta to get huge traffic??

And lets say you will make 10 target niche blog comments each day, do you have the time to do it manually? And the huge marketers who don't have the time todo theese blog comments each day manually how they make it- or they have enough money to outsource it?

          best wishes

I recently found out about a new wordpress plugin which once you set it up on your site, it will buid unlimited backlinks based on your keywords. This one is using proxies and you can upload your own auto-approve comment list and the script will use your list to post comments. I wrote a post about it on my blog. You can take a look here

"Traffic automator scrapes 1000's of wordpress blogs based on your keywords and starts adding comments on those sites"

I tried this and it posted comments to totally irrelevant blogs, not releated to the keywords I loaded. Have had no response to my refund request for 10 days....

I would like to tell you don't use auto commenting software. You can use your real name and comment on high quality blog posts.Try to add some value to the content.

for auto blog commenting you need to use proxy and you need 100's of blog commenting contents as if you use the same it would be detected as SPAM..
