  • Sounds Malicious, It involves providing crappy cheap links to your money site. Not recommended. Focus your efforts on prosperity.
  • What should one expect from $5 SEO services? Cannot imagine any of them to be truly effective.

    • For the record, I did offer SEO services for five years, and I made a lot of money for my clients and myself when I was doing it.

I got out of the business when I needed to start taking a lot of time away from the computer for family reasons, just in case anyone is wondering.

I am a big believer in testing results.

And I have tested a large number of SEO services offered on Fiverr. Of course it must be noted that I probably did not test every offer on Fiverr, but I did spend hundreds of dollars at Fiverr buying SEO services.

Each campaign was carefully put together, so that I could see winners and losers. I wanted to know if there were any services that I could use for my own sites that would be an absolute plus-value.

Personally, I trust my testing processes over the "opinions" of most people.

For example, there is a Warrior who is very well-known with whom I have had many discussions. He says, "I do #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6 and #7 to get great rankings for my sites."

I keep asking him which one offers him the most value, and he says all of them.

So I ask in another way, and inquire whether he has tested any of them as a stand-alone to figure out where he is spending money wisely and where he is spending money for nothing... LOL

The conversation always pisses him off.

So let me read between the lines for you...

He doesn't know which of the 7 items are positive, which are negative, and which offer no value at all -- BECAUSE he does not test each as a stand-alone.

I have tested the techniques he swears are his secret sauce, and I consistently see no value gained from the one technique he swears is THE BIG SECRET to his success. :p

After having tested 60-70 individual SEO offers on Fiverr, I have seen no negatives, but I also have not seen any positive-gains. Everything that I have tested to date amounted to nothing more than $5 out the door with zero gain.

I have seen several folks say that they offer SEO services on Fiverr, and that their reviews are all top-notch.

I have no doubt about that, but I also believe that most people are like the previously mentioned Warrior, who does not know what is actually helping his SEO activities and what offers zero-gain.

I have no doubt that the persons, who are offering SEO services at Fiverr and are getting good reviews are delivering what their customers expect from them, but I seriously doubt if the buyers even attempt to find out what works and what does not.

When most people at Fiverr give good reviews on the service, the review is about the person they are working with, rather than the real results obtained from that service.

I stand behind my original comment:
  • Ha ha ha, nice one.

This is a joke about trying to trash other people's sites, right?
  • If somebody offers SEO services on fiverr you can bet that they don't know what they are doing.

Just look at the pay rate: if you pay $5, only $4 go to the provider. Now, how long do you expect an SEO guy to work for that?

If you would hire somebody that is good at SEO you could expect to pay at least $25+ per hour. That means you would get about 10 minutes of qualified SEO work from fiverr.

I don't know much that can be accomplished within 10 minutes..

That basically means you get what you pay for.

    • I disagree. SEO doesn't have to be fancy and overpriced. Some people just love what they do, and don't need to charge a lot for it. In India and Philippines you can live a very decent life with $4.00/hour jobs. An hour of their work can get you some really decent do follow backlinks.

Think outside the box when it comes to SEO. How long does it take to create a new wordpress account + load some articles on it + insert 2 links into each article + submit RSS to automatic RSS feed pinger + set 1 post every 24 hours. That only takes me about 30 minutes for a blog with 15 articles copy/pasted. If the articles are on topic and the links are do follow using your keyword as anchor text, this will help raise your ranking.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I guess you really got to use some logic if the gig sounds to good to be true maybe it is but some like stated in the one post 4 USD is good money.

I had nothing but good things to say about all of the gig's I purchased and will use them over and over again as a cheap outsource option.

I guess it just what you are looking for is the question and with everyone having their opinion on seo it probably best to do your own thing.

All the hype about people saying get number 1 on google is bs no one can guarantee you top placement and if they do get you their remember their is also work to stay their.

Their are some gigs that do offer seo that are actually good but if you don't use common sense you might end up with a bad gig.

I really do not see why people would want to let others handle their seo in first place that should be something you would want to know for yourself as it is a big part of your life line for your website, blog ect. ect.

well any how this is about fiverr and they are great if used with common sense plan and simple.

    • I suppose you have a strong desire to stand out in the crowd???

This is the second post from you that I noticed that you BOLD every word in the post.

First, if the quality of your post is good, it will stand out on its own.

Second, the fact that you rely so heavily on making every word in your post BOLD makes me wonder about your self-esteem issues.
  • Wanna b*itch your competition?

I have to disagree to that. There are services on Fiverr that can actually over-deliver. Look for SB, xRumer services, edu backlinks etc etc.

    • So those who want to use software and put them to full crazy mode then U can go to fiverr for SEO jobs. Or else if U want a real SEO expert who understands Google webmaster guidelines, quality link building following all strict guidelines of link building, html, php, mysql code optimization and lots more..........then better find one good one.
  • I've used edu backlinks on Fiverr. She did an excellent job and over delivered.
    • [1] reply

    • ok there's a bunch of people on fiverr who are all using a distortion of edu backlinks as their user name, and trying to feed off the one who you were recommending
Who was the one you were recommending

      edu_backlinks__
      edu_backlink
      edu_backlinks

      or someone else

      Thanks

  • To JeanneLynn

What is the benefit of .edu backlinks?
  • I have used fiverr a LOT for seo/backlinking . Some of the fiverr services leave WF services for dead, others dont. There is a lot of value with fiverr , but its trial and error. $5 can buy you a LOT of serp movement 9in the right direction!)

    • I wouldn't pay squat to any knucklehead on fiverr.

Why would you ever expose yourself and your sites
to some clown? Especially an adsense site?

But cause and effect get greatly mixed up here.

I would not be so quick to blame anything for losing
google rank. There are so many other intangibles.

  • Just found this from a search. What a complete load of nonsensical tosh you're all talking. Honestly, what the hell?

Nothing anyone does to anything offsite except in the very early days of your domain's lifespan could POSSIBLY damage your rankings. The very worst any backlinking gig could do to you is NOTHING.

You CAN NOT hurt a person's ranking, except when it is very young. If you could possibly HURT sites then SEO would not be about optimising and backlink to our own sites, we would not have to raise rankings of other out sites we would merely have to ATTACK the rankings of our enemies, this is why NOTHING hurts your site through offsite optimisation. Confirmed by Matt Cutts.

Learn what you're talking about guys. Stop perpetuating ridiculous SEO myths, it's absolutely ridiculous.

As another user said, some of us enjoy what we do, I turn over a huge number of edu backlinks gigs on fiverr, I do so with 100% positive feedback, I've sold to warriors through that same gig. This kind of false nonsense does NOT help. It drives me insane that so many people talk such utter twaddle, completely enraging.

    • This myth enrages you, yet you are completely fine with making money off of people by perpetuating the myth that .edu links carry some kind of special ranking power?
  • Typically, the ones that give you many many profile links. They're the one that screw the ranking!
    • [1] reply
    • Did you miss everything I just said in reviving this thread or did you just completely ignore it?

Put simply, offsite optimisation does not and WILL NOT EVER hurt your rankings. Google will never open the door to allow websites to simply attack each other, it is a recipe for complete chaos and would be a disaster.

  • I disagree with all the posts saying Fiverr is crap for SEO.

I sell small link building packages on Fiverr and my feedback is top-notch. Every review, they are saying how they love my service, best deal on Fiverr, order now, what usually costs hundreds he will do for 5 bux, blah blah blah.

Like the other guy said, some sellers just do it because it gives them something to do in their spare time and they enjoy the work. Obviously 4 dollars 2 weeks from now isn't going to change your life.

It just takes my mind off of things when I'm having a slow day.
  • Step 1) Do the main web site with effective web architecture and onsite optimization yourself. ( see my signature - we do this)

Step 2) Outsource one GIG a week to Fiverr ( some are really good, you got to communicate and choose)
  • LOL hey man, I agree with you on that. I am in NO WAY saying that every provider on their site does quality work.

Look at that guy who does the 5250 backlinks gig with xrumer. His feedback is insane, which made me decide to try it out. And then he got my site sandboxed. LOL

Thats when I decided to buy all the software and just learn it myself. Took months to get my site back to normal.

All I meant with my post is that not ALL sellers on there do horrible work. The people who claim to get your site to "first page" for 5 dollars are obviously a joke.

And I DO agree with the person who said that its always the ones who offer such a ridiculously large amount of backlinks that will get you either sandboxed or have you bouncing for months.

Link building is best done in small doses on RELEVANT sites to your niche. I've learned this from experience.

Also, when I said my feedback is top-notch, I don't mean the number of reviews. I mean the actual reviews. I've had plenty of people say in their feedback that they seen an increase in traffic and search ranking after using my service. But that is also because I've been doing link building for over a year. I let my buyers know what they can and can NOT expect when they buy from me, etc.

I'm one of the most honest and sincere IM'ers you will never meet.
    • [1] reply
    • Did they do what YOU paid them to do. If they did, and you got "sandboxed", it is not their fault. You're paying for work you asked them to do. As a businessman, only you are responsible for the results. You're paying for their labor (in most cases).

  • You can buy good and bad stuff on fiverr, profile links and similar dont get worse just because you buy it on fiverr.

But i already purchased some very good gigs on fiverr, eg. article marketing robots blasts (before i bought AMR) and Senuke blasts.
  • For me after 28 gigs from Fiverr, and after 2+ months i saw NO change in my websites. Good or bad.

So Fiverr is a waste of money and time. Those 28 gigs (150 $) could be used better i suppose.
  • I'd have to disagree. I ordered a link wheel Fiverr gig a couple weeks or so ago. My site was sitting #20 in Google and after about a week moved to #6 on the front page.

Up until that point I had not done any SEO work at all on this site.

What was so damn funny about the whole thing was that in the gig description, the seller Guaranteed first page results! Now, I know there are no guarantees, of course, but it was pretty funny to see that statement and have the seller actually deliver it.

Just sayin', you CAN get good results for $5 despite what some folks may say.

    • is it permissible to ask who that fiverr provider was?
  • Everybody has an opinion. I used only fiverr gigs to get a site ranking 4 hella competitive keywords...CPA offer's making me bundles.
  • Have to wonder why you would like to hire them, I certainly hope this is not to destroy a competition
    • [1] reply

    • you mean if target wanted to destroy Walmart, they would just pay someone $5 to black hat seo them? I doubt that would work.. sorry
  • I had a new site, ordered a Fiverr gig, and got hurt badly, it recovered, only just. Luckily it was my test site. Highly recommend you have a test site or article to see what works.
  • Find a seller who provides mass .EDU/.GOV links. They use heaviest spammed pages

  • Sounds bad malware involves providing cheap money from the site link. Not recommended. Focus its work at the well-being.
