May I ask for some Feedback, please?

Hello Warriors...

I haven't been in SEO very long. About 3 months.
I made my first niche site (in my sig) and I am still working on it. No major achievements like first page of google for my keyword... yet. (I changed keywords about 5 times)

Although I feel I learned a ton of things about SEO, (I did not even know SEO existed before I started) I still feel like my knowledge is limited and I have a lot to learn. This is my first, and only site at the moment. Besides occasionally writing a new post, I feel like my site is finally done. (ex. finally settling on a permanent theme, title, ad placements, etc).

All I am doing now is off-page SEO --- backlinking.

I have never gotten any feedback about my website before. If it will not be too much trouble, could you please take a quick look at my site and tell me what you think? Anything you could tell/critique me about would be very very much appreciated. Thank you warriors.
#feedback

All the text ads and the banner ad was for teaching licenses... If I'm on your site for a pilots license, I'm probably not going to click on the banners because they are irrelevant.

The top left text = Teaching certificate USC
top banner = University of Phoenix
side text ads = some remarketing ads from sites I visited in the past. #3 is for Online aeronautics school, but the rest are for certifications like nursing cert.

Try to get your webpages to really focus on the keywords so the ads are relevant... It would suck to spend tons of time and money getting traffic only to have bad ads

Totally agree. I don't know why that mountain pic is put on there. Furthermore, i think it would be better if your footer line is on the bottom center.

Thank you for pointing this out to me. It is a very big problem that I did not really think about. I always saw ads for degree programs, but I thought they were just mixed in with flight "school" ads. (Im such a newb)

I changed the content on the first page. There were about 200 words on why a DEGREE is important for pilots. It is definitely not even worthy of being homepage content so I don't know why I continued to keep it there all this time. The word degree, school, and education was used about 40-50 times so I am guessing that is the reason for the ads. Hopefully...because I did remove all that content from my page. So, well see

That would be a major problem. I didn't think that was the case because I have logged onto my site from about 10 different areas around Canada and the ads were always about pilot/flight/aviation...with the occasional degree program ad.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I'm guessing it was because I was changing around some adblocks right before.
It seems to always show irrelevant ads for a few hours whenever I change some of the ad blocks.

I don't know why you had dis allowed all spider in your robots.txt. if you want to rank your site in any particular search engine, you should allow their to index.

What do you mean it is on disallow all spider...

My robots.txt currently and always has had...
      User-agent: *
      Disallow:

      Is this incorrect?

You call yourself nospamming, then spam a useless reply? I think
you should do a tad more research on robots.txt You are
not even making sense. His robots.txt blocks NOTHING.

So, lets' give a little lesson.

      User-agent: *
      Disallow:

      Blocks nothing. That's right. Nothing.

      The following:

      User-agent: *
      Disallow: /

Blocks everything from here on out.

      Class dismissed.

I don't know how well your site will do for how to be
a pilot in Canada, but it seems to me a .ca or at least
a server in Canada would give you the extra oomph.

In fact, could be a tad confusing to visitors. It was to me.
I clicked on Air Force Pilot and saw how to be one in Canada.
Then I knew something was up. Oh. The site is not on how
to be a pilot, but how to be a pilot in Canada.

The domain is about Canada, true enough, but the anchor text
is not, neither is the front page.

Personally, my first impression is there are too many blank parts on this website, maybe more contents. And according to what you said, maybe next time before you build a website, you should make sure which keywords you want to promote first, because you know, for new websites, change keywords too frequently is harmful.

I have kept this keyword for about a month and a half now. The first few times I changed were because I had no clue what I was doing and did my keyword research by looking at the BROAD search results instead of EXACT.

As for the blank parts on the website...
I changed themes many times too. It used to be very compact with no blank parts. However, I wanted to change to a more wide-open clean looking site so I made the switch to its current theme.
Do you suggest I change it?

      Thank you for your feedback

I won't suggest change themes frequently, either, but there are many SEO-friendly themes out there, so if your changing is beneficial to your websites, why not?

the above suggestions are also my opinion.
i want say something in brief.

1.you should add more useful information to fill the blank space.
2.do not change keywords for each page.
    3.most important one---quality+relevance.
