Hi

I know that getting backlinks manually is the best option but i would like to know do the link building tools work at all?

I am about to start using them since they're more cheaper but i don't want to spoil my website ranking.

so please share your ideas on how effective are backlink tools and suggest the best ones available.

Thanks

Some of the tools, you will ever regret after using. Senukex, rankbuilder, scrapebox etc are the tools which are must have for any SEO specialist. They just automate the process and saves lot of time for you .

Some are definitely great tools as long as they are double checked before blasting and not spammed in a short amount of time and have interchanging IPs

Automation is spoken bad about because of the people who MISUSE IT. It frustrates me SO much when someone posts or replies to a thread here saying: "I used XRumer yesterday and now my website is sandboxed!" - Well you know what, spamming 10,000 backlinks in a matter of 30 minutes WILL get your website sandboxed.

Rather - take a backlinking tool like XRumer (the most hated one because of its bad reputation by users who are stupid) and build backlinks gradually (10, 100, 500 a day).

Just because you have the power to use something to its full potential, doesn't mean you should.

i use many tools,i can say i have used almost big bang SEO tools, and some works some not, what you need at the first time is knowing which type of backlink that works, then search for one that automates that process..or at least help you a lot on that type of link building.....

I was almost 2 years in the SEO world. And as long as it I use a natural backlinks.
Some time later, I tried using the backlink tools. And I still got the same results, i success to get ranked in google search result.

+ When i use backlink tools, I won the keyword faster than i use natural backlink.
    - My blog was hit by google dance in some time.

    So, use your own risk

Yes, you can use backlinking tool. There are some good tools out there that you can use, but make sure to check them carefully before using.

Another thing is, make sure to use them properly or you might get your site hurt.

Any links that point directly to my main sites, I prefer to create them manually. But beyond that? I don't mind using automated tools on lower tier links / buffer pages.

Making sure that those tools you are going to use are not spam-oriented, then it would be at least good.

But - it would be way better to manually build links for your website so you can at least control, manage, and perfectly analyze what you are doing for your website as well as how you perform for your website and products.

If you are just starting out SEO, get backlink checker to find links from competitor sites and use link building tool to manage link partners and create links naturally.

Automatic link builders can be effective but require much more research and SEO expertise - otherwise you can get in a lot of trouble.

So it is somehow the tools fault that you did not bother cleaning your list before using it. Maybe a little research or effort in learning how to use said tool might have been in order. If you are hammering a nail and hit your thumb is is not the hammers fault.

Pretty much anything you can do manually I can do with a bot. You can build a bot for any specific task and just because you do not do all the repetitive functions myself does not mean I do not have control over what is going on.

This is very true. Starting manually is a good idea so that you know how to do something. You really can not judge how well a program is going to work if you do not know how to do the task well yourself.

Researching and learning how to use any tool whether it is a automation tool for building links or table saw is very important.

Google has no way of knowing how a link was made so there is no inherent advantage to building manual links. Can automated links be of crappy quality? Of course they can but so can manual ones as well. It is all how you create and setup the bot to work.

There are a lot of good automation tools out there and just like any other tool they need to be used properly. All automation does is save you time and money which is never a bad thing. I mostly build my own bots but if you are serious about doing any kind of automation you should get scrapebox. Even if you never do one blog comment with it the program is still worth the money. You can scrape links, check PR, check/clean out no-follow links, clean out duplicates and a lot of other things as well, it is like the swiss army knife of automation. I had it almost a year without doing any commenting at all and it was still well worth having.

Most of the horror stories are told by people who had no idea of what they were doing and could not be bothered to learn before blasting away at their money site. Then they blame the tool because they could not be bothered to learn how to use it first.

It is like blaming a table saw for making a bad cut when you did not bother measuring first. It is not the saws fault you did it wrong it is your fault for not bothering to make sure you knew what you were doing.

The best thing to do when thinking about automation first decide on exactly what you want to automate and then find a program that best fits your needs. Once you have done this practice on a few sites that are not important to you. Either a niche site that is not really doing anything or maybe a few web 2.0 properties. Once you are confidante you can make the program do exactly what you want you can start using it on sites that really matter to you.

First of all, I don't trust on automation tools. However, the scrapebox works to generate some quick links.

Getting Back links Manually is the best option because you know the quality of that particular links. But when you use tools to build back links they submit in any sites.
