Lost rankings :(

Hello fellas, I launched my website on 1st of Sept added 8 SEO optimized Articles(focusing main keyword only ) with loads of amazon products with wp-zon builder plug in . and today when i checked my ranking i am no where in top 100 Google search pages for my keyword and before that i was dancing around 5th and 6th position and today suddenly i am no where in top 100 , what you guys think reason could be ? i don't think so i am sand boxed by Google because i got 814 pages indexed in Google . what you think is it Google dance or what and if its Google dance what you will advise me to get my ranking back i know after few weeks i will get back my rankings but any suggestions ????

does this happened with you before ?? and if so what you did ?

  • Start building links and concentrate to bring quality visitors to your website and google will bring them back to previous position. Always take a note on SERP every week so that you can refer them whenever necessary.
  • So, you launched your site 15 days ago and you are surprised that you are not in the top 100?

    That is pretty common, it is also pretty common to launch a site and get ranked high for the term and then drop off. Just start building back links and adding content.

    How much of those 814 pages on your site have any unique content? I am guessing none of them since you are probably pulling the product descriptions right from Amazon, correct?

    • I got separate blog section where i have articles with unique content , almost 8 articles with 1500 + word count each . and it just happened when i started social bookmarking of the website ...
  • This is normally happened to other sites that are newly launched, and I would suggest that your quality link building and on page optimization must be done continuous. It will take time to see the effect in search engine rankings.
  • Your site has been online for 2 weeks. Give it some time man.

    • Usually happens to new sites, one of my sites just finished dancing after over 1 month. Took a beating from Google, but looks stronger now, lol.
  • Sometimes it takes Google awhile to find your new position. I've had new sites on 1st page then 2 weeks later bounce to 100 and eventually come back after being sand boxed, and sometimes not back to page one either.
  • U were in the QDF dimension. And now you're out of it. Give it some time to settle down.
