Using 301 Redirects for ranking keywords?
- SEO |
I have a question about 301 Redirects. As you know, they let you redirect a link from one URL to another.
Now, let's say I have a 'master site' where all my content is stored, but I want to rank for a long-tail keyword that isn't found anywhere in my site while using a content page that I've already created.
What I want to know is, how feasible is the idea of creating a keyword-specific URL (in the same domain), which will do a 301 Redirect to my actual content URL, *then* index and rank this keyword-specific URL?
Is it even possible?
Thanks in advance for all answers.
