Hey guys,

I am having trouble creating a Squidoo Lens due to content restrictions. I am promoting an affiliate programme and currently sit 10th (page 1) of Google. This is great as I'm competing against 444,000 search results however I need that final push to get to Number 1. Should be easy as there are no authority sites to compete with.

How can I get around the Squidoo restrictions??

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Sanj.

  • What restrictions are you talking about?

Just add the correct number of modules, fill them, have a 200+
    character intro, picture, etc.

Put one link to the site.

A good way is to use the big picture module, put a large picture,
and hyperlink it. It's a good way to get around a few link restrictions,
as links on the big picture don't count for the max you can use.
And make the picture look like an ad!

You have to be more detailed on the restrictions you are talking
    about.

I build lenses and link to anything and everything. You can
always use a url shortenr like bit.ly as well.

    • Hi Paul,

The restrictions are on 'SquiDon'ts' like MLM, Adult content, Gambling etc. My problem is that I cannot create the lens after selecting the categories (at the beginning when the wizard is running). It doesn't matter if I select 'Business', 'Internet' etc. Squidoo will not allow me to proceed.

How do you get around this?

      Sanj.

bit.ly is having trouble with Clickbank at the moment - try tiny.cc or yourls.org
