An Example Of Individual Pages For Keywords Working Great

Page 1 doesn't mean anything to me anymore. Doing the research, and knowing that we're all lazy, we don't like going past the first 3 listings. So my mission has become, grab those spots for all targeted keywords.

I run a computer repair business, locally here in PA and am moving toward having those spots with all of my keywords. In exactly two months, I've been able to grab 1st page listings with some of my keywords, but page 4 and 5 with others.

The others, keywords like "computer repair, phillipsburg" I was slowly moving up. It was killing me.. for someone who is into fast tracking and getting results quick.

Created individual pages for each city name, including (of course) the keywords in the URL, and went around to LOCAL BLOGGERS and commented my face off on them (delivering something useful, even if just a contribution to the discussion) and built deep links from commenting on a highly trafficked local newspaper blog.

The domain is 2 months old exactly. My competition is not too tough at all and I've just reached page 1, #4 for a very important keyword.

I was researching around for a while, debating on whether or not to create an individual landing page for specific keywords. It turns out, this works really well IN MY SITUATION (a local, service based company, with which you're targeting geographical and service based keywords).

Just wanted to drop that in here for you peeps.

Hope everyone's getting results. Been seeing a lot of penalties lately, which sucks. Stay away from those if you can!
