Yup that's pretty much it. I personally only aim for 3-5 articles per day, and just make sure each article is unique and of High Quality.

If your english isn't too good then outsourcing is definately an option. There are plenty of good writers here on the WF.

Off-page optimization not only consists of that, there are more ways for building backlinks, more strategies and link building structures we differently use. Not everybody uses the same techniques, but basically we all here use those backlink building methods. As for me, those are just one of the steps on my link building procedure.
