I just ran over 27,000 proxies through Scrapebox to validate them. I ended up with a big fat 0 good ones. WTF This is a new record for me.

I always wondered how these sites that offer them get them. What makes a proxy usable for Scrapebox or the other uses we put them to? Is there any reason you couldn't just generate random numbers to make them up?

Obviously you can tell I know nothing about this subject. But I am curious and would like to know more. So if you can share any information, please do.

wow 27,000 proxies with 0 good ones. What footprint do you use to scrape the proxy sites? I normally get about 300 good ones out of 10,000 proxies

  how hard is it an what is required to make your own proxy server? i to have had horrible sucess with scrapebox proxy tool lately.. ive been using Proxy multiply.. try it out

  I got those proxies from Elite Proxies I have had good luck with them previously. I have never got that many before, but always ended up with way more than I got by using Scrapebox to harvest them. And often end up with more than 100 good proxies to use which is more than enough for me.
