Average Price per Click?

Hi guys

so, I'm totally new to PPC or banner ads or any other ads (although I've done some facebook before). I know that in google the price usually depends on the keyword.

My question is: what is in your opinion a good/average price per click (or at least what I should I aim for). And what's the minimum one can get (although I've seen a thread about 1 cent per click on this forum this seems a bit unrealistic).

And for example, what would be a good price for a lead on a squeeze page. I have some one doing the ads now and we've managed to get to $2,5 per lead, although mostly it was higher.

So, please discuss!

Thanks,
Ivan

It depends on the niche, but You can take for example CPA offers ,which pay for leads. Usual price per e-mail submit is 1-2$ , that could be a good indicator for average price, considering the fact that many CPA offers are often not very targeted, paying 2.5$ per lead could be ok.

But the biggest indicator of how much You should pay per lead, is testing, how do they convert. When You know, how much money on average 1 lead brings, You will know , how much You want to spend on getting them.
