Website Traffic Strategy

What is your best website traffic strategy? I have been in internet marketing long enough to know most all of the ways to recieve traffic, but would like fellow warriors to give me some insight into what has worked for you. I want to concentrate on one strategy at time. Please help.

    I get some reasonable traffic from social media (mostly Twitter and facebook)
    Though email list traffic may not be traffic you get everyday (bcos you probably will not send out mails everyday), it remains the best source of sure traffic. When google and other SE dance round with changes in their search technology, when Twitter and facebook change their policies, your list remains.

    Lots of guys were getting good traffic from Google but the panda update kicked them off

    This question has been asked and answered hundreds of time... try a search in the seo forum section.

    The answer is different for everyone and changes over time.

    For me - PPC, JV's, SEO, Ezine advertising - depending on the niche and existing relationship.

    I've found SEO much better since the Panda update kicked off a lot of crap content so it seems easier to get good results now.

    Keyword discovery helps a lot, especially if you are targeting uncovered niches yet with huge demand in search. Getting a match content to a long tail keyword always saves the day for most site owners with competitions get too tight with highly popular / competitive keywords.

    Writing content relating latest events relating to niche and making it specific for certain area may bring you a good amount of traffic. But, the content will be useless after the events. Example: different festivals.
