Adsense for my new site

I have one website and I am in the middle of buying another website. I want to take over the account of new website's adsense (and google affiliate) accounts from the previous owner, but the problem is that we don't know how.

There is no place in adsense account where we can just change the info to mine.

Is it possible to take over his account? or will I have to create a new adsense account? or can I use my current website's adsense account?

Thanks

You need to replace the pub-id on the site with yours.

Just use your current one and it will work, no need for no registration or such, pub-id is a Publisher ID not a site Id, so, it should work OK without any problems for ALL sites in your AdSense account, no matter how much sites you have in hands.

OK thanks - that's the answer I was hoping for.

But, they also have google affiliate account (and it's an affiliate site - cheaptoday.com), and in the google affiliate, it is linked to their adsense account and there is no place to change it to my adsense account.

How can I unlink his adsense and affiliate account and link to my adsense account? Google hasn't been returning emails on this.

I don't really know much about G. Affiliate to be honest, sure someone with deeper knowledge about it here would help, but anything related to AdSense, I'll be more than happy to assist within

Thanks for the offer. I think adsense is ok, but I just don't know how to link that affiliate account to my adsense account. That is a million dollar question for me right now :-)
