Somebody is attacking my rankings!

Somebody from Ireland is constantly trying to attack my rankings for each new blog post I do. What he does is a Google search on the URL of each new post, and he does it about fifty times in a row, obviously trying to give me a high bounce rate.

This is really annoying, and I believe it is actually having a negative effect on my rankings. What can I do? By the way don't do this to your competitors, it's not cricket.

That does sound frustrating but the easy fix to your issue is to block the ip addresses which you identify as the ones which are causing you grief. Here's a handy guide which will tell you how to address this within your htaccess file:
Block IP from accessing website using .htaccess - Techie Corner

Although, I would say that you won't get a bounce rate unless a visitor hits your site. You mentioned that they just do a search but I assume you also mean that they come to the site and leave also.

Yeah that's what I meant most of my keyword search terms are URLs. I'm not sure what his IP address is, does this page tell me how to find it?

It doesn't but if you check in your visitor logs you should be able to pinpoint the specific ip addresses.
