how much is website with DMOZ can be more expensive if sold?

How much is a website submitted with DMOZ (approved) can be higher in price if it's sold? Regardless of how much the website earns money in monthly basis...

    I would say so. I submitted a site two years ago for inclusion into DMOZ and we still haven't been included. So I would say you can definitely charge a premium if your site is listed in DMOZ.

      I'm curious, BloggingPro, why you would think that.

      There are many sites listed in DMOZ that get virtually no traffic. I researched this for several niches.

      The belief in DMOZ stems from the days when people were setting up directory sites and scraping DMOZ for links. That doesn't happen much any more, and most if not all of those directory sites are worthless.

        In terms of those who are building link networks these sites command a premium. More so than a site that is not listed in DMOZ. Of course there are always variations and there is never a solid rule--but yeah if I had a site with no traffic and was listed in DMOZ I would be contacting many of these link network owners.

    I won't pay more if a site has been listed in DMOZ and any sensible person who has some knowledge of idea also won't. DMOZ listing doesn't do wonders for a site its just a high quality link. But there are loads of high quality links. So, why pay for just 1 link.
