Article Marketing Question..

I realize in order to submit an article to a top article directory like ezinearticles.com it has to be unique and pass copyscape.com

Well here is my question: I have an article with a keyword density of %2
I am spinning it using TBS, but the spun version of the article is not passing copyscape because my keyword (of 3 words) is still appearing in my spun article.

So should I manually alter my keyword until its unique to copyscape then submit it. Or it is ok to keep my keyword in the spun article even though its not gonna be unique?

Because I already have the original article on my website, and I need to do article submission: and I was told that my article needs to be unique in order to be accepted by a good article directory.

One talks about duplicate content and not getting backlinks, and thus each article should be unqiue. and another thinks its best to publish original content.
Now what?

Thanks for discussing this with me. It sure will be benificial.

I am new to this whole article marketing thing, and having so many openions: I am just too confused. So many people say article submission is important. Most of them also agree that the same article that appears on the website, should NOT be the one submitted to article directories.

I tried to do blog commenting, as a part of OFF site SEO, but I faced the obstacle of dofollow and nofollow. When I decided to move on to article submission, I faced this obstacle.
I now feel hopeless about what is right and what is wrong, My site is already on page 2 after getting blog posts and HPBL, but I want some natural SEO done to it and so far nothing is working..

I used to be a big advocate of article marketing. I am not saying that it doesn't work, because it still does, just not the same way that is used to.

Stop worrying about single article directories. Look at the top 5 - 10 article directories and continuously post to them on a daily basis. Wait for the content on your site to index first, and then re-post it to the directories. As long as the article gets indexed on the directories it will still count even if it is in the supplemental index.

Now, if you want to get a bit more power behind each article then try using an article directory submission network such as UAW. You spin the article ( or write 3 separate articles according to their specifications ), submit it, then it will get set out to hundreds of blogs and article directories. Depending on how you do it ( spin or rewrite ) it should take you about 30mins - 1 hour.

The effect of UAW takes a little bit to feel, sometimes upwards of 2 - 3 months ( unless you ping and bookmark all of the submissions that go through ). But in the end is more effective than going after single directories.

I would still use a version of the article in the top directories, but don't solely rely on just those.

Gone are the days when EZA was as powerful as it once was.

PS: Btw UAW is just one article submission network that you can use, there are tons out there. But this is one that I have used before, and have seen results; as long as you don't mind waiting awhile for them to appear.

UAW only really works if you use it every day, but because of the time requirements, I had to stop using it. I work on a minimum of 5 - 6 sites at a time, that alone would be 5 - 6 hours of work, not including writing more content for my sites ( which I do on a daily basis ).

Now I use BMR. I saw results from BMR within days, compared to results from UAW which took months. Plus, I can get my 10 links + 1 page of unique content written for my site inside of 40 mins. This way I can work on more sites at once.

But, if you don't have the money to spare then take the top 5 - 10 directories and submit to them every day to get your links.

Then you'll perhaps be pleased to know that this is completely wrong.

Explained in detail in this post.

Article directories do not require previously unpublished content.

It makes no sense to submit to EZA an article which hasn't already been published and indexed on your own site. Your own site can be the cumulative, long-term benficiary of all those initial indexation-rights - there's no need to give them away to an article directory.

In that case, please excuse the observation that you've misunderstood at a fairly fundamental level how article directories (and especially EZA) work. When you can spare 15 or 20 minutes to read carefully a 4/5-page thread, the many successful article marketing experts posting in this thread will tell you exactly what you need to know.

I would like to thank everyone who took part in this conversation.

I am not going to outsource SEO because I am not running multiple startup websites. I will go with everyone's advice and post my original articles to the top article directories only. Any idea if i have to make any Title changes or it does not matter?

100% you need to make a new and good title, I am sure it would be good if you write your own original article as people read articles as they need information about different topics.

hi,
Its better if we do not spin our keyword because its important that the content of our article does not change. Ezine articles do not allow too much use of keywords.
