I love using the Clickbump theme for adsense sites.

It comes with I think around 12 different templates so you can have a variety of different looks.

The theme is simple and is super optimized for SEO. Sites I use clickbump on get ranked very quickly due to how well the on site SEO is.

It does save a lot of time due to the plugin that you can buy with it called "Jumpstart" which adds all of the necessary pages such as privacy, disclaimer, about, contact, etc.. the second it's activated.

It's very easy to add your Adsense codes anywhere you want on the site, as there is a widget for just about every part of the page (header, footer, sidebar, etc..)

All around great theme, it's a small investment if you're planning on building a lot of sites with it.

I thought the themes cost 10 dollars each

As far as I'm concerned, nothing compares with the Clickbump Adsense themes - fully functional, easy to use, very newbie-friendly.

      But that's just me, though...

They are pretty decent to use, but they are slowly getting more complicated and complex as he adds functionality. Unfortunately with the complexity there are more errors, luckily he is really good at customer support.

Hi outwest, it looks like there are several ClickBump owners here who can give you some advice on their experiences with my software. I just wanted to chime in to clarify the various packages and what each comes with.

ClickBump theme is offered in "good, better, best" product packages.

    Good - "Express"
You can get in the door for just $17 with Express. This includes the core WordPress theme, ClickBump 5, with all the adsense management tools and optimized out of the box SEO. It comes with a single pre-installed "template" or "skin" called "Amaze".

Better - "Express with JumpStart Pro"
Comes with everything you get in "Express" and adds a sitebuilder plugin called JumpStart Pro" which automatically installs the theme, your default pages and posts, plus any plugins you like".

    Best - "ClickBump Bundle"
Comes with everything you get in "Express with JumpStart Pro" plus 12 additional templates, plus my on page SEO plugin, ClickBump SEO.

I am brand spanking new to setting up blogs. Clickbump came highly recommended so I purchased it. I purchased the bundle and I can tell you that it's worth every penny. The jumpstart file makes it a whole lot easier to set up your site. Basically you just fill in the blanks and you've got everything you need except content pages. He has a lot of different themes to choose from and you just can't go wrong. He also constantly updates and adds new products.

Best thing about Clickbump is the service. Scott has been very patient with me and all my dumb questions.

I've never purchased anything else so comparing this versus that is impossible but I can tell you that I will continue to business with Scott.

A while back I downloaded a pirated version of Clickbump theme and checked it out. It is a very solid set of adsense themes that, as I recall, covers the thematic bases from traditional X-Factor set ups, "clickbumped" set ups and other slicker page themes. I never used the theme on any of my sites but I quickly got the impression that Scott is rolling out regular updates to this theme so it really is in your best interest to buy it for the (lifetime?) support.

I currently use heatmap theme (paid for all my MFA sites.

OH, BTW, I do use Clickbump SEO (similar to SEO pressor at half the price) and I love it!

I've used an earlier version of ClickBump on some Adsense sites.
    They worked pretty well.

Truth be told, basically any white background "clean" theme that allows the Adsense ads to stand out works well for adsense.

      Hi Phans, good questions.

The "Ad Position Randomize" function works for ANY type of ad, not just Adsense. For example, you could be using Chitika, Amazon affiliate product code, Ebay Partner Network, ClickBank, etc...

I can't advise one way or another on Adsense TOS questions. You can find the Adsense Program Terms of Service Here | along with an easy to follow Q&A Here.

I would encourage you to read and understand the policies linked above and the section on "Ad Placement", in particular appears to offer some relevant guidance:

      Ad Placement

Publishers are encouraged to experiment with a variety of placements and ad formats. However, AdSense code may not be placed in inappropriate places such as pop-ups, emails or software. Publishers must also adhere to the policies for each product used.

Google ads, search boxes or search results may not be:

Integrated into a software application of any kind, including toolbars.
      Displayed in pop-ups or pop-unders.
Placed in emails, email programs, or chat programs.
Obscured by elements on a page.
Placed on any non-content-based page. (Does not apply to AdSense for search or mobile AdSense for search.)
Placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads.
Placed on pages whose content or URL could confuse users into thinking it is associated with Google due to the misuse of logos, trademarks or other brand features.
Placed on, within or alongside other Google products or services in a manner that violates the policies of that product or service.

Hi Servent, sorry I missed your post. Yes, you can sell a site on flippa as long as you have a developer's license

You should make clear, as the terms of your sale, that the buyer needs to obtain a license to receive support and updates.

I read your developers link but still little confused. If I sell the site and have the new buyer purchase a license what license would they need to purchase and how much would that be? Also, if I did it that way, would I not need to buy a developers license myself since my buyer is purchasing a license?

They need to buy the same product you purchased at current prices. The best approach for you is to sell them the software through your affiliate link.

Yes, I'd say 99% of all plugins are compatible.

However, if I've done my job as a theme creator, you won't need many, if any at all. You'll may want Google XML site maps if you are publishing a sitemap, and Akismet to prevent comment spam if you accept comments, but that's really it unless you are doing something super specialized.

Some people use W3 Total cache, but its really not needed since the sites are very well coded and streamlined to be very fast and responsive.

The #1 plugin I've hopefully made obsolete is "All in One SEO". You absolutely DO NOT need that one with ClickBump.

      Hope that helps!

I've been using Clickbump SEO on every one of my posts for the last 6 months at least. It's just brilliant. Takes all the guess-work out of your on-page SEO and leaves you more time to concentrate on those pesky backlinks! Worth every cent IMHO!

Just one minor niggle though: sometimes recently it has been hanging when trying to read in LSI. it doesn't lock the page, just means I have to go back to using my (rusty!) imagination.

Me as a Warrior forum member If I were going to purchase a theme and that theme was 67 bucks? and it was no longer being supported? I would appreciate other members letting me know. And I would not consider that Bashing if they did.

I have made no claims as to CTR themes effectiveness, its click through ratios, I make no claims as to how good a theme it is..........................Only that its no longer supported

I seriously doubt most people buying CTR know its no longer supported

I know that Clickbump owner/programmer Scott Busts his butt, and spends hours every day answering support questions. Doesnt mean that Clickbump is that complicated, just a lot of newbies can barely install wordpress, some people just need hand holding. (including me at times, I must admit)

I dont see why other software should sell for a high price and just get a free pass.

    good luck

I think I paid 64 dollars that included

    1. Clickbump 5 and Jumpstart Pro Engine
    2. Clickbump SEO wp plugin
    3. Silo Theme addon (xfactored2.0)

The thing I like is you can add it to as many sites as you want no additional charge.
That might be standard but I have seen lots of programs that dont work that way and only license stuff for one domain, which to me would be a big pain but this is unlimited installs, so ..................cool

I bought all of them and I am still a bit murky

Clickbump 5 is the latest Clickbump Engine/theme combo

Jumpstart Pro is part of the package, and its the engine that runs everything

Now Someone might come in and correct me and say I have it all wrong LOL
    you basically install
Jumpstart Pro and everything else installs internally from there. Its pretty sophisticated setup , very slick

I dont know how people do stuff like that,(how programmers can come up with such wild variations that mesh with Wordpress seamlessly)

I remember the first time I installed wordpress, (no the one step button install was not available from my host) that took me a long time to learn that, but now its a snap

I remember this guy in high school that was a genius
walked around mumbling to himself, could barely carry on conversations with normal people

but the guy scored 800s all the way around on his SATs

Scott might be one of those genius types, But I do think he can carry on conversations,

The $17 package is the "Express" option and comes with the core theme "ClickBump 5" (aka C5) and one premium pre-installed "template" (Amaze).

You can purchase additional premium templates for $10 each - some come in "packs" (2-in-1, 3-in-1, etc) and are slightly more.

JumpStart Pro is a specially created plugin that rapidly builds a website, installs the theme, presets several theme settings, installs your plugins, widgets, default pages and posts and then fixes you a cup of coffee

ClickBump SEO! is a plugin that helps you optimize each of your posts and pages for maximum page rankings.

Hope that helps. Thanks to Outwest for the kind words on the software. I knew a few of those geniuses in HS, but I'm just an average guy with some convenient skilz ;-)

I got Scott's larger package for $97 and based upon what I was able to do in a very short period, it was an excellent investment. It would help if I was a little stronger with the graphics side of the house so I could tweak and customize it a little better.

It's a tool, not a cure all or a silver bullet, but it is definetly a weapon to have in your arsenal.

I wish there was some more instruction for the newer folks like OptimizePress has, that could help me take it to the next level would be my only recommendation.

I think finding a suitable Adsense theme that works for you depends on a lot of trial and error, as many factors are taken into account to find out if someone will click on your ads
