Google Hates My Site

I had a single page site that I was promoting using AdWords for about a week, making decent sales, with a quality score around 7/10. Then Google starting disapproving my ads because it was a "affiliate or bridge site". So I added some extra pages to the site like contact us, a review of the product, privacy policy, etc because I thought the problem was my site only had 1 page. When I added those pages my ads were approved, but now I have a quality score of 0/10! I've created new campaigns and new ads but Google are dead-set in their hatred of my site, which is weird because I have a almost identical site in a parallel industry, with basically only the product names changed in the copy, and it has a quality score of 8/10. I've emailed Google a couple of times but they just say, "make it more relevant". If I bought a new domain name and redirected it to that site would Google notice and punish it again? What can I do to get Google to like my site again?

  • what i recommend is that you go to freetoolsandtips.com.
  • scrap ad, delete adgrp, keywords.

Get new domain, move the new and proper site to new domain.

Make a new adgroup, point to new domain.
  • There has been a lot of research done on this (Google slap) and they don't budge. Once you're marked, you're marked. Get a new domain, and redo it right. If you're not sure how to get ranked well quickly, check out One Hour Google below...

    • Hi Nicx0r,

It's usually not hard to rehabilitate your account. Unless your website has been banned you probably just need to fix a few things. If you get a new domain you usually end up slapped all over again unless you can find what caused the slap and fix it.

AdWords has a great tool built into your account that will tell you in general terms what is causing your poor quality score. It's called the Keyword Analysis Page. Why don't you run that tool and let us know what it says? Once you know what the problem is, we can set out to fix it.

    • Hi Warriors,

I would like to ask why some folks are recommending that you get a new domain name?

Your domain name doesn't cause your poor quality score and getting a new domain name won't fix your problem. If there is a legitimate reason for getting a new domain name, I would really love to know what it is.

You can tell by my signature that I'm in the business of selling domains, yet I wouldn't recommend getting a new domain name, even though I could profit by doing so. This is because I truly believe it won't fix your problem. Am I missing something here?
