You need quality, unique content on your websites. Google Panda is a set of algorithms, that put good quality websites on top of search results, and move bad quality websites on lower positions, so that people who are browsing web get better results.

So you need to provide value to visitors. Put content, that visitors are interested in, update your websites from time to time, split test different things to reduce bounce rate, and you should be good.

When it comes to the updates that are occurring, we are all very prone to the risk that our websites might lose their ranking.

But the best and practical way you can do is to visit the Google's webmaster guidelines. Read and understand everything there and you will be on the right track. Fluctuation is just around our back, but if we are abiding in the guidelines, we are in the safe spot.

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but ... i could use some help with google search. When I put information in the search box, under the box used to have a line that said Results 1-10 of about 11,000. . (0.25 sec.) Now, when I conduct a search, all it says is about 265,000,000 ( numbers are just an example.) I have not been able to figure out how to get back the previous results. The other question I have is when I conduct a search, i only get local results. Why can't i get the wholeworld wide web results? How can search results be depended on when say looking for a physical product to see the whole competition out there? Well thanks in advance for any information and knowledge you bestow regards, pjk

As per Matt Cutts (Google webmaster), Google Panda likes authentic sites with original content. So its all about content now. We should focus on the content.

Remove duplicate content, make your website unique and look for high pr backlinks. Make blog commenting and some social bookmarking in high ranking bookmark sites. Make Press Releases and Article Directory submissions. But think to UNIQUE CONTENT.

You need to make sure you have good unique content, no duplicate spun stuff on your site. Then you need a good mix of links from free blogs, articles, social and then some high PR homepage links to further increase rankings.

If you are signing up to a network try to go for a few smaller ones rather than 1 big one. It helps give more stability and diversity.

Sites hit by Panda will show massive changes especially the page views. When using Google Analytics you will see an epic fall in traffic, that’s the possible sign of Panda. Limiting the search parameters in Google Analytics to the United States market will show the clear result of Panda attack. If you’re unfortunately the victim of the Panda, you can:

* Implement such changes:

- Block the indexing and crawling of all low quality content to prevent it from lowering the ranking of your entire site.

- stop stealing other’s articles, and really focus on creating unique content.

- Keep your ads down to a healthy ratio
