Google seems to be on the way to setting themselves as the meta search engine
The search results now include tabs for Yahoo, Youtube, Twitter and Amazon .
And of course results differ in each space
Who knows to how and where it can be expanded..

Given the frequent algo changes, the future of SEO can change drastically.

What if more social content is added and SEO actually beomes useless or requires optimizing for each particular platform?

  • Yes, @dblgdee you are right people are using every social media platform to rank higher and the situation is changing, google is smart i believe they keep track of all the trends and change the algo accordingly.
