Link Juice Delay???

Is there a delay between the time a link is placed on a page and the time the linked-to page actually receives the full link juice? I've been shooting a lot of high PR links (PR4-5) to my money sites (targetting low-mid competition keywords) over the past several weeks, but I haven't really been experiencing much advancement in the SERPs. I checked the pages I'm backlinking from (which are mostly high PR homepage backlinks) in SEO Spyglass and the links that are giving those pages their juice are still intact, which means that the pages I'm using for backlinks should still have plenty of juice flowing through them, and therefore to my sites.

So, does anyone know if there is a link juice delay or something of that sort?

    Unfortunately Google will always change your position when they feel like it. If you are getting links consistently then they will very likely increase your positions soon, it just never feels soon enough.

    One thing you can do to help if you have the time is to ping the pages where the links are so that the SE's can see that there is a change on the page and will pick up on the links that have been added.
