Hello Everyone,
I have a client and one of his sites is e-breastpumpsDOTcom sorry I only have 10 posts on this forum so it wont allow me to put URLS in my posts. Anyhow I submited a sitemap to google webmaster tools. I also submit the site to be crawled by google. But up to this time the site is not being indexed. When I look at webmaster tools it say XX amount of URL submited then where it says how many were crawled it says 0 none nothing nada.

Also when I do a search for the site on google the URL for the site does not come up but some backlinks and other SEO efforts I done does. Has anyone experienced this before? Any suggestions on what to do? My client tells me the domain name is old and he bought it from someone else. Any help with this I would truely appreciate.
Thanks

Submitting your site to Google doesn't automatically mean that your site will be indexed so does the domain age. Try to do the typical SEO activities like social bookmarking, blogs, forum posting etc. Build decent amount of backlinks. Google can take sometimes take weeks or even months to formally index a site.

Not because you submitted your site it doesn’t mean it crawl the entire web in just a blink of an eye. I have such kind of predicament before so I must suggest just go on looking for free directory sites (or express submission for faster approval) w/ high page rank plus have an exchange of backlinks to other sites.

Go Articles is also a great way to quickly build quality backlinks. I get my sites indexed in a few days by simply submitting a few articles.

Also try building a corporate hub page, squidoo and blogger. Weebly is good too to put back end conent on. While the free version is a subdomain i.e .weebly, you can use your site name as your main keyword and then backlink to all your pages.

You can wait for a week or so to let Google crawl it naturally or use a link crawling service like Nuclear Link Crawler (FREE) to crawl your website, this should help it index faster!

Just wait for the Google Bot to crawl your website. I think it will take time to get indexed.

Getting indexed by Google means basically getting into their directory – introducing your site to Google by that one first hand shake.

Of course another popular way to get introduced to Google, don’t beg for it’s attention(by submitting your url and waiting for a guaranteeless possibility) but ask your friend who knows google well to introduce you to it. In simple words – Get a link from already indexed site to yours. And I guarantee Quality indexing!

    What are the advantages?

    - You will get indexed to googles directory as it will follow to your site/blog from the link – this is weighed more.
    - You get automatically linked once when a google robot follows the link – no desperate wait.
    - Guarantee results in less time.

Social bookmarking can help in this. Perform social bookmarking of your pages. This will help in easy indexing.

Hi tbird, I have no idea why my post got deleted/disappeared. If anyone could let me know that would be great.

But anyways, I just checked and the site seems indexed! I typed in: "site:ebreastpumps.com" to google.

If I am mistaken or you need more help, please PM me or let me know on this thread. I will spend the 5-10 mins again rewriting my whole plan for you.

But off the top of my mind. It included manual digg submission, delicious submission, social bookmarking (i have 3 services i recommend), plus i explained pingomatic and a really cool indexing tool i found online (which i would have to refind for you in my bookmarks. I've used it before and it has a 100% success rate so far).

Anyways, its pretty cool that you tracked me down on another post. Shows your dedication to getting this indexed. and again if anyone can tell me how/why my post got deleted from this thread, please let me know.

Hi Joe ya thats what I am looking for the indexing tool you mentioned in your post that got deleted. I also dont know why your post got deleted. If you can let me know what indexing tool that was and anything else that might help that you have not mentioned already that would be great.

I if you do a search for the site Breast Pumps Review | Breast Pumps | Medela Breast Pumps another site that does not belong to my client comes up http://ebreastpumps.com that site does not belong to my client his site has the dash inbetween the e and b in his url as you can see. I noticed the whois and some backlinks and other backlink stuff comes up for his site but the site itself does not meaning its not indexed and its been like 6 weeks of backlink building, directory site submitting, and other SEO strategies we are doing but no luck. I sumited a sitemap to google through webmaster tools and also have the plugin Google XML sitemaps installed on his site. Agian up till now no luck. So looking forward to what you have to say back Joe. I cant pm you as I do not have enough posts on this forum yet for them to allow me to pm someone thanks

        Hey Tom,

Sorry about the confusion. That hyphen got the best of me.

The index tool is: Profit Instruments: Quick Index Tool.

And I checked its not indexed. I got excited there for you. But nonethelesss, I like the challenge and I hope that the others can help you as well if that tool does not work.

I'm surprised your site is not indexed as it has a lot of content compared the the MFA (made for ads) site that I accidentally checked.

I would add your site to a social adr account and start to get social bookmarks from other users (IE- rather than one delicious bookmark, you can get numerous from numerous delicious users). You can sign up here (its free). And earn credits and do it yourself (takes a little bit of time). You can also send the site to social monkee and onlywire.

I would also submit site to Digg, Twitter, Delicious (manually). And ping it at pingomatic.com (the tool i mentioned above does pingomatic for you). But I suppose you could do it again.

Next I would submit the site to RSS directories.since you have an rss feed.
take your feed url (e-Breast Pumps) and
        submit it to:

        feedagg
        plazoo
        blogdigger
        rss mountain

I would add some new content to the site though (first). Because the last update seems to be from July 2011.

Also do an ezine article with a link to your homepage.

BTW- is the site indexed with yahoo or bing?

It also may be because of some issues of on-page factors. You should check them properly and wait for crawling.

submitting sitemap only does not let your site to get indexed on top.. For a particular URL you need backlinks for it. Do link building then your site will be indexed

you can install a wp blog on your domain. it really can help.

then after your site being index, you can delete the blog totally.

Your client's site has to have at least one good links from other domains to get indexed in Google. Make sure that the domain has no penalties. You can find it out using Google's webmasters tools.

I just checked the site again and I don't see it indexed by google. What I would do is recreate a new wp blog with similar content and get that indexed instead. it might be easier...

let me us know if you have any updates, cause this is crazy that its not indexed yet.

It could simply be that you might need to social bookmark it to the likes of Reddit and Digg, to see if it will get indexed

Ping your blog with pingomatic and pingoat once. Create a free google webmaster tools account and then submit your blog site map this should help your sites get indexed.
