Hi there,

I am fairly inexperienced when it comes to the topic of SEO and I am learning a great deal by going through these forums. I had a question though, is there a tool that exists that can crawl one of my existing webpages and see what potential keywords can be extrapolated from the content there?

I would like to do this to see if I was missing any obvious keywords in my one of my blogs.

Thanks

Hi Shawn. You can use this particular tool from Google called Keyword external tool. I can't paste the link so you will have to Google the term to find it. Should feature right at the top.

On the left hand there is a section which should read "How would you like to generate keyword ideas?". Select the radio button which says "Website content". Enter you website and the tool would do the rest for you. Quite dependable but limited to Google data.

Google Keywords is probably the best tool because it allows you to get figures of the number of searches and it's straight from the horses mouth.

    Hi Shawn,

The Adwords Keyword tool is an awesome resource if you know how to use it. Pm me if you have any questions or check out the Keyword Tool guide on my blog. Best of luck.

    Cheers,
    Kris

Try this toolbar paste in browser- tools.seobook.com/seo-toolbar
The SEO Toolbar Its a powerful tool. On the right side of the bar (just before the highlighter button) You can check multiple free online keyword tools simultaneously Google adwords, trends, insight, wordtracker, Quintura, SEObook, etc. There also a feature to check keyword density for a specific keyword on any webpage.
    Hope this helps
