I just Googled and it seems as though decaptcha is causing problems with other software that relies on it.

Have you considered using deathbycaptcha?

That's what I've used before and I've never had any problems.

Hmmm...

Maybe they are having temporary problems... It's hard to tell really.

What is the plugin you're using? Is there a similar one on the market that using deathbycaptcha? Maybe you can find an alternative until decaptcha is fixed.

Try http://decaptcher-reloaded.com.

They've gone down before and this is the mirror site they setup.

When you login, they list several other domains you can use to access their api, I just chose one of those and all is working.

Wow, I was using both for the longest time and had no idea. Decaptcher.com was generally more expensive anyways.

It seems that there is a problem with that .

I have been able to logon successfully at de-captcher.com

As to why they changed it????

Now I just have to figure out how to change my pluggins.

But they now have a system message saying Decaptcha may become obsolete anytime soon, so be careful how much credit to put on I added $10 anyway

I contacted their administrators and they said de-captcher services will still be up and running. They were referring to the domain decaptcher.com when they meant it will be obsolete. Hope this clarifies.

All of these sites seem to be down?? any thoughts? I have searched the net and there is nothing to be found. I have a balance I just hope its going to work when I run SEnuke and AMR. I also need to add more funds. Might need to switch if this continues.

de-captcher.com, and death by captcher seems to overloaded these days. I am using BMD and get lots of failure to connect. Your software might support captchasniper.com

I use decaptcha, been having mixed results. I also own Social Anarchy
but for some reason it won't take my decaptcha login info.

Overall it's well worth the investment, especially if your using any
automated/account creation type of software.

DeathByCaptcha. Use it.

Deathbycaptcha - biggest piece of crap lately (last month or so). Moved away from them completely for the time being. If accuracy and long response times don't bother you - they're a decent provider.

edit: seriously some of my blasts take 2-3x longer when using DBC, lol. Such a slow response time + accuracy is way under the 95% claimed. More like 80%(ish).

i just got some contact information for the users. and they are saying that they are temporarily removed from Google. i think the cause is to violate the TOS of Google.

decaptcher "moved to a new location" quite some time ago. Their site said to contact them via Twitter to get the "new location" - which I did, but they never replied.

I use www.deathbycaptcha.com now

But C.S does seem like a good alternate once the new version nails down recaptcha.

I believe it has changed to http://decaptcher2.com/home.php

I just registered to it and it mentioned it changed to this site name and the old has no password in case people are trying to log in on the old site.
